Help? Late pregnancy (37wks) upper abdominal pain.

Just trying to figure out if I should be freaking out or not.

Girlfriend is 37 weeks pregnant, first baby. She started having a pain up her left side and upper abdomen when she took a deep breath or yawned. (Started about 11pm) Now, she still has that pain, but there is a severe pain in her middle upper abdomen, accompanied by nausea. The little one is moving and seems content to be in mommas belly, but her parents are worried.

I'm not sure about this, i was going to say it could just be a stretching pain, but since its not going away and she's in severe pain i'd check with your doctor since she is past 37 weeks.
