Help think i might be havin a miscarraige
hi im 6 nearly 7 wks pregnant i have been bleeding since friday night and passed a clot today i have no pain at all or no other symptoms of miscarraige went to hospital they did a test which was still showing positive which has to be gd right ? got scan tomorrow as they could not say either way n said bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy has any 1 else had the same thing n what was there outcome im so worried ?
I dont want to scare you but I had a miscarriage back in december and it started with bleeding. Hospital done tests they were positive and my hgc was rising but when I had a scan baby had no heart beat. But I no a girl who bled in pregnancy she about 27 weeks now and hers wax Cz of bleeding around the baby. Dont give up hope baby might be ok. Just dont stress and wait to sed wa the scan says. Hope everything is ok
Passing clots is not normal.... and heavy bleeding also is not normal in early pregnancy... It can happen but is more rare...
What I have seen alot of people experience while being on these boards is a sub chronic hematoma (or something along those lines).... Which can cause them to bleed quite heavy and pass some small clots.. I think for most people it turned out okay and eventually the bleeding stopped but it depends on where the hematoma is... They would be able to see this on your scan tomorrow..

As for the positive pregnancy test, you cannot really go off that because you can keep testing positive for days to weeks after a miscarriage if the HCG is still in your body.. The doctors at the hospital should have tested your BETA HCG level and then test you again in 48 hours to see if it had double. It would be a much more accurate view of the pregnancy.. If you scan tomorrow proves to be inconclusive for whatever reason. Ask them to do this test..

i'm sorry you are dealing with this... All you can really do is wait and see. I know they say it can be normal but if they see no reason for the bleeding I would say it's not. Just take it easy amd we'll pray for the best.
