Heartburn/indigestion does that...don't lie down after eating. Same thing happened to me and I felt it for 3 days when I layed down. Hard to breath and heart felt like it beat hard. I took rinitadine and within 10 mins it went away and have been good ever since. ! Seriously...try it..can't hurt.

Yea I always try 2 have lots of pillows 2 have my  upper body elevated a little so I can rest..otherwise I can't sleep nor rest and then I'm tired all day..as if it wasn't with the rest of the preggo symptoms.

Do you have anxiety, or are you feeling stressed? I have generalized anxiety, and there are times when I get heart palpitations as soon as I lay down. They aren't fun, and can be scary. I just place a cool towel over your forehead, try to relax, take deep breaths, and sip on ice cold water.. If you're having sharp pains, or any type of discomfort, I would suggest seeing your doctor. If it's anxiety related, they won't do much at the E.R. Hopefully all goes well!
