Just noticed how old the post was...oops! lol
Hope you had some luck, Leanna26. :)
Have you tried pumping between feedings to increase supply? The more you nurse (and pump) the more you'll have. When my son goes through growth spurts he eats every hour, and I produce a TON of milk during those times. It's amazing how your body will adjust to baby's needs! Anyway you may want to try pumping before using supplements or herbs. However fenugreek is safe and I have a friend who used it, and claimed to notice an increase in supply... but supposedly it does make the milk have a strange flavor so a picky baby may not like that. I have also heard that eating a lot of carbohydrates can help, and actually beer too. I'm not encouraging downing a six pack before nursing or anything.... just sharing with you what I know and have heard! :)
You can search online, even on this wonderful site, and check the amazin benefits that this miracle tree has.
I tried and it really works! the next day that I started i noticed the difference.
Nduwayezu, who is leader of the Moringa Oleifera project in Southern Africa, said the tree could be dubbed the green diamond of Africa because it could also generate revenue if fully utilized for its medicinal and nutritional values.
He said it can improve health conditions of HIV positive people, increase breast milk in lactating mothers, lead to improved health of babies and also treat a number diseases such as TB, diabetes, heart problems, lower blood sugar levels, eye and ear infections and many other diseases.
I took fenugreek as well and it really worked was great id say go for it its all natural and remeber to drink heaps of water too x
My OB put my on a prescription when I went in for my 4 week check up. It's a prescription that's used for gastrointestinal type stuff, but increased milk supply is one of it's side effects.
It was called Reglan (metaclopramide). It worked REALLY well and was completely safe for my son.
I had tried drinking the Mother's Milk tea, but it didn't do anything for me. It tasted pretty good, but didn't increase my milk :(
I've heard of foods high in carbohydrates. Be careful with supplements, they could be harmful to the baby or the baby might not like the taste in the milk.
Try with moringa

United States of America (Press Release) May 7, 2008 -- Many people across the world are learning about the enormous health benefits of Moringa. Mothers around the world have been using it obscurely as a natural way to increase breast milk, mothers produce copious amounts of highly nutritious milk for their infants. The term given an herb or food that increases the flow or production of breast milk is galactogogue.
Moringa has been clinically proven to increase the production of breast milk whether it is consumed before or after the birth of a baby.Mothers who took Moringa were shown to produce more than 2x the amount of breast milk than those who didn't.
