I am carrying twins and at 5 weeks along my HCG was only 8,000. It was high but not THAT high. They thought that it could be either eptopic or mutiples. Turns out it was two little girls and we are now 26 weeks along. I wouldnt worry too much about your numbers - every woman and every pregnancy is different.
Maji, I dont think its true that in Canada they dont tell you the numbers.. it may depend on your doctor, if you ask to have your beta hcg tested, etc.
When I was pregnant, my doctor tested my HCG and told me the numbers everytime
My friend had extremly high numbers lol I don't know the exact numbers cause in Canada they don't tell us but the dr couldn't get over how high hers were lol she is31 week preg now
Twins run on the womans side not the males but twins is still a pissibility or maybe you are a bit further along than you thought. Either way congrats n keep us posted!!
Its very possible for twins then.good luck...
I have a scan this Thursday. My husband's family has a history of twins. I guess I'll have to wait and see!
