Hospital Bag x

What do I pack?  

I'm a ftm and due in 6 days so just checking over everything again.

In babys bag I have 4 newborn size vests (short sleeves, bottom poppers), three hats (two cotton, one wooly for coming home), four pairs of socks, four pairs of mittens, three sleep suits and two pairs of bootees, a pack of newborn nappies, packet of wipes and a blanket (to put on car seat for taking baby home).

In my bag I have my toiletry bag, some breast pads, maternity pads, two nursing bras, one pair pjs and slippers. 4 pairs big pants and socks, one pair of leggings, two maternity  t-shirts and a vest top and a cardigan.  

Anything else or have I already packed way too much? I'm in the UK so the hospital doesnt supply us with anything. We can stay anythin from 6 hours - 3 days if a straightforward birth, and I plan on being in a couple days if possible x

Lol I have my makeup in my handbag - moisturiser, waterproof mascara, powder for my face, dry shampoo so I can brush it through my hair before any photos...getting my hair coloured today so my roots aren't showing lol x

Definitely bring make up , who cares about how much pain you're in you still gotta look cute .. nothing serious maybe some liner , mascara and powder.

It isn't no beauty contest but I would like pictures with my child and visitors that are worth looking at lol

Yes deffinately take things to do your hair and stuff I understand we just went through labor but omg the pictures I have of myself after having my son 3 years ago are horrible ...I have natural curly hair....it was a frizz ball .....I was pail white and eyeliner smeared under my eyes I looked like the walking dead ....I will be making sure I have the nessesities to make myself look halfway decent afterwards lol

I have shampoo and conditioner minis and a mini shower gel as well, I'm allergic to a lot of beauty products so have to take my own in, and deoderant... In fact my whole toiletry bag is made up of miniatures lol x

Omg take shampoo and soap if they let you shower.The ones in the hospitals are so hard on your hair :( oh And a brush :)

I tried to think what I'd need for two day stay once its born lol. With babies you never quite know. Its a nightmare lol x

Oh yeah my phone charger is in the bag, and my camera is fully charged. Got a few books on my phone though doubt ill get much chance to read lol. My clothes I really onky have one pair leggings for entire stay, and a tshirt and a vest top, and a cardigan,  the rest is underwear. I just dont know for baby, I have a warm sleepsuit for it coming home cause here in Scotland its still really quite cold, the rest is just cotton ones x

To me it seems a lot but I'm only staying a full day. Haha. But you might want to make sure you bring a charger for your phone, and a camera. Oh and something to keep you entertained while there. Oh and some crackers for after you deliever. Some don't give you anything to eat rite away.
