How accurate is 21 weeks ultrasound?

hi every one just wanted know that is this happend to any one that you are having a boy or girl and pop out opposite gender what ever the tech said . so if it happend plz share the story thanks

Alot depends on the quality of the ultrasound machine and the tech who is performing it.If both are good it should be accurate.

Hi, I didnt have a similar story, just wanted to say at my 20 week u/s they told me it was a boy but I asked to see proof, and then I just went back last week now at 29 weeks and its still a boy.. Did they show you his parts or give you a percentage, and do you have any future u/s coming up?

at my 21 week ultrasound for my first they told us girl, but also told us they weren't 100% positive, we had a boy.  Sometimes you can get a good luck and I think then it's better, but in my case, it was hard to get a clear pic, so it was less accurate.

With my first baby I was told at 20 weeks that I was having a girl then at 34 weeks was told she was actually a he!!!! The same thing happened to my mom with me...They told her until the second I was born that I was a boy!!! I have all of my baby pictures in blue and everything... My poor mom!!!

Lol my cousin was told a boy n had a girl!!! and when I was nineteen wks I was told girl then at thirty wks a boy :) I think they r pretty accurate tho
