I was 19 weeks when I found out. If you want to start shopping now start stocking up on the nuture stuff, that is what I did. Diapers, baby whips, bottles, pacifiers, bibs, nutral colored clothes/blankets. I ended up using a jungle baby theme because it was neutral and plus I though it was really cute. You can also look into furniture, cribs, changing table, even things you might need, like shirts that open up for feedings. So there is plenty to buy until you know for sure! and don't forget if you are having a baby shower you are going to get a lot of clothes, we barely bought any!
Intelligender is the name, and while it boosts an 87% accuracy rate, it in reality is only 50/50. You can only have one or the other so on a lot of people it's bound to be correct. They cost anywhere from $30-40.
Hey do you know What's the name of the test??
Well, there's always that neat little pee test at walgreens or rite aid that is the boy/girl gender test. It takes 5 min and is said by 3 of the ppl I know that used it to be right on the money :)
I found out at 16 weeks this one and my last 2 as well.
okay i went to the Ultrasound appointment and was told by the tech she is 80% that it is...................................................... A BOY!!!!! so i made an appointment at 1st Glimpse which is a off site place that do 3D and 4D gender determinations ultrasound on Sep 24th and i cant wait to get the confirmation.
I was told baby was a boy at my 12 week appointment. They said they were 90% sure. It was confirmed at 15 and then again at 16 weeks. Just to make sure I made them look at 24 weeks and yup, still a little boy!
I found out my son was a boy at 15wks..and he's a year old now so obviously it was right, lol...but it's rare that they can tell you so early, and they can only usually tell you that early if it's a boy..if it's a girl it's too hard to confirm so they usually wait. I found out at 20 weeks that my daughter was a girl.
I found out with my son at 13 weeks that he was a boy, and when confirmed at 18 weeks she was right he was definitely a boy. I just had a 12 week scan a week ago and she told me they think its a girl! So I will have to wait to see if she is right... If you have a good tech some will take a guess, it is better to wait until 16 plus weeks tho!
Told at 14 weeks they were 80% positive baby was a boy and then at 18 weeks found out he was actually a she.
I found out on my 12week scan. I have my 20week scan on Friday so I'l let you know if they were right. I have put a study on my profile in journals relating to early u/s gender prediction. Have a read of it if your interested in finding out early. With buying things it can be less accurate than a later scan so we havent bought anything until we get confirmation.
You all are lucky to find out. I dont even know the gender if my baby. They denied to tell us even in my 4d scan... Me and hubby tried a lot... But no luck... Now am 36 weeks... Need to wait 3 more weeks I think...
Your normal doctor will tell you at 20 weeks but you can go to the 3D/4D ultrasounds and find out earlier. I'm going to go at 15 weeks to find out. Well, at least I hope I will find out!! It also depends on if the baby cooperates.
You can find out anywhere from 16 to 20 weeks. I found out from my amnio. But at 17 weeks they thought it was a girl and at 20 weeks they confirmed that she is definitely a girl.
If you prefer you could get gender neutral things. Yellows, purples, reds, browns/tans, etc.
so i may as well hang it up ughhhh but i want to start shopping now cause i am a single mother and need to get his/her stuff out the way before Christmas hit lol
i had it at 12 week , and 2 days and they could not say anything , now i am 15 weeks , have to wait for another 5 weeks :)
Yea i had a scan at 13 weeks and they said they couldnt tell me, i had to wait till about 23 weeks although you can find out from about 20 weeks, congrats x
I was 20 weeks when I found out. I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. You might find out, but it's very doubtful.
