How soon after morning sickness, can you test positive?

So, I have posted a few questions on here before and so many people have been truly helpful. I got what I think was implantation bleeding sometime last friday on the 21st. I started feeling completely terrible about sunday. We were over with family eating dinner and I kept finding myself feeling the urge to run to the bathroom all the time. I never actually threw up, but I got the feeling like I did. Where I get extremely hot, light headed, and that terrible taste in my mouth. I have still been waking up in the middle of the night to urinate and then now I also get random cramping in my stomach, I almost never get cramps during my period, so it is unusual. But after everything I eat, I feel the need to throw up, and we went to one of my favorite stores yesterday and it smells very strong of incense, and I spent about half of the time in the bathroom because of the smells.

So now, I took a test this morning, and it was negative, but if I am correct, I should be due for my period by the end of the week, it was irregular last month and lasted for about two weeks, so am pretty unsure when it is due, so should I wait til the end of next week to do another hpt so it can be accurate?

I also woke up this morning, more tired than usual and my body is aching all over, feels like I ran a marathon. Lol.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I was not ttc, but would love a child and if I am indeed pregnant, I want to know so that I can start giving him or her the proper care.

I got a negative, but the last time I tested was on monday. I was trying to wait a week like they said to get an accurate result. Just feeling so disgusting. I just want to make it better.

The people that get false positives are normally older (like over 40) I guess you develop a normal hcg level toward menopause.  From what I've read the only other reason you would get a false positive was if you had an HCG shot to induce ovulation being that you were not ttc I doubt you had that so it should be accurate.

I do not know when i would have ovulated. And i have read that some people have false negatives on those urine tests. I had what i thought was implantation bleeding last friday but isnt it take a few days for the implantatiion to actually occur?

Well you can test two weeks after ovulation, so if implantation has occurred you can test in the few days after. A high sensitivity test such as first response can read very low amounts of hCG and in early pregnacy it will double every two days or so as well. (I think the lowest amount I've heard a FRER test read is 7.5-not sure if this is correct though)

Waiting is super hard to do... Lol. I can hardly keep my mind off of it. The little blood thatt i thought was implantation bleeding happened last friday, so maybe this friday will give me enough time?

I had true pregnancy symptoms (heartburn, vomiting) at 6 DPO so it is possible.  It could be your mind playing tricks on you the only way to know is wait a week if no period take another test with your first morning urine.  I had a positive at 13 DPO but depending on when the little one implants it's possible you tested to soon.  good luck hopefully you figure out what's going on if it's not a baby.

IF your symptoms are related to pregnancy you can accurately test at any point and it should be correct. It's really uncommon for women to not show on tests, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Well I always have my period at the end of each month, usually around the 24th or so, but I usually start my period not at first with my sugar pills. Thats why I do not know if I am late or not. If I had a 28day cycle then today would have been it. If I have longer, than it might not come until friday.

I do not know, but I want this feeling to go away. My stomach is feeling so yucky, and I'm really tired. It's hard to focus on anything at work other than that.

So what I really want to know is when can I get an accurate testing?
I want to know as soon as I can. If I am, I want to start acting like it, if not, then I want to know what's wrong with me.

Just remember that doctors offices calculate a cycle as being 28 days, when each woman is different, even on birth control. Your period can start at any point during the time you take the sugar pills.

Some girls start their periods the day their sugar pills start and some girls 3 or 4 days after they begin taking that week of sugar pills.
When I was on the Nuvaring my period would sometimes start the day after I took it out but on a couple occasions it didn't start til near the end of that week. 

Also, Nausea and morning sickness doesn't normally occur until after a woman has been pregnant for a few weeks however with each woman the symptoms of pregnancy are different so it isn't impossible. Regarding the imaginary pregnancy symptoms, it doesn't have to be us thats trying to conceive but rather what our body's are doing. A woman can experience those symptoms even if she's preventing befcause it's not dependant on how she feels mentally about wanting to conceive or wanting to prevent but depends on how her hormones are acting.

Yup. I am on my sugar pills as of yesterday. I just called my obgyn, and they said according to everythig my period should have came today, so if it does not come by next week, to test again.

Even if your not ttc and on bc.....you are obviosly stressing about it and thatcould cause you to have symptoms.....if you are in the piill now you should expect you period to cone when you get onto the sugar pills......

Yea that was what I was planning, it just makes things difficult not knowing exactly what date I am due, So I figure I will test the beginning of next week or even at the end as well, I do not know like I said when I am due.

I had read about all of that, but due to the fact that I am not trying to conceive, I do not believe that I would be having these symptoms. I am actually usually taking birth control. My fiance and I were just planning on waiting a while, if I am indeed pregnant, then that is fine, but we were no by no means attempting it
That's why all of this kinda worried me, because like I said I was on birth control but due to the fact that my period was going on for so long, he had me stop taking it for some time, and due to me being careless I did not use any other form of protection..

Your not even late for your period yet so it could be to soon to test.  You should wait and test again if you period doesnt show up.

It could also be IPS

Morning sickness usually doesn't start until 5 weeks at the earliest. I would just wait until you are a day or two late and test. If it comes back negative, test again a day or so later. I had terrible morning sickness from 5 w 3 days.. and I am still having it at 12 weeks. Good luck.
