How soon does menstration occur after an d and c?

During my 13th week pregnant, I found out  that I had a missed miscarriage at around 8 weeks.  I went in two days later and had a d and c performed. How soon will I get my period? Also, b/c the miscarriage occured almost 7 weeks ago, should my hormmone levels be back to normal by now? If not how long does this usually take. I still feel pregnant?

i ovulated and conceived again 7 days after my d&c. I didnt believe it myself but the doctors confirmed it.

i need advice , i was tecnically 12 weeks , but it stoped growing at 8, i had a d&c done and it was nov30, i didn't bleed after that but i spotted the whole month of dec, just brown discharge, then jan 11, i had a 4 day normal period a little heavy , but the 25 of jan i started spotting again for about 2 days , and it stopped now i finally got my period after 43 days of not having it and its very heavy, i have had bad cramping whats wrong , and is it normal?

I had my 1st period 6 weeks 2 days after the D and C.  Then, my 2nd AF 6 weeks after the 1st.  I was 15 weeks when I miscarried and 3 days after the D and C my levels were at 0.  If you doctor has not done blood work since the D and C, I would ask him/her to check your hCG levels to make sure that they are declining or at 0 by now.  Good luck and sorry for your loss... I know how tough it is.

Soory about your loss, it took me six weeks after the d&c to get a period and I have read on the internet that they are saying 4-8 weeks is normal.

I had a D&C Jan 26th and got my first period since then today. One month and one day after my D&C! Sorry for your loss. Went through the same thing. but I was only 6 weeks pregnant when I had to have a D&C done.

Thanks. Was it 5 weeks from the miscarriage or 5 weeks after the d and c.

It took me 30 days the first month and 32 the next....I'm all out of whack.  The only way to tell for sure if your hormones are back to zero would be to have blood work done....Is there a possibility that you could be pregnant again?  So sorry for your loss.
