I feel fat.

So I have gained more than you're supposed to. I've gained about 45 pounds. I drink lots of water, and I eat very healthy. I do eat often, but if I'm hungry, I'm going to eat. But I just feel so fat and unattractive. :/ My fiancee' still shows me the same attention but I don't even like him to see me naked right now. I was 114 before the pregnancy and I'm 160 now. I just wanted to know if anyone else was feeling this way or having the same issue?

I gained 58 lbs so far and im only 33+3, with my last pregnancy i gained 65 lbs but i recall losing 20 lbs within the first 2 weeksafter giving birth( i believe it was water retention.) You will be fine, some women pop right back to their bodies after pregnancy. I didnt though, to get my figure back i dieted and worked out really hard 2 hrs/ day, 5 days a week. You can do it:)

I'm 21 weeks and weighed 108 prepregnancy. Just weighed myself lastnight. 135, i eat healthy, only drink water and milk. I have a job that has me on my feet all day every day. I don't think i look like i weigh that much. My guess it's all belly weight. Oh, and my butt and boobs doubled in size. Gotta love pregnancy! lol I wouldn't worry about it, at least i'm not. As long as your doctor isn't worried about your weight gain.

I'm 18+3 and have gained NO weight but baby isn't starving baby is measuring right on track. How much a woman gaines while Prego doesn't decide how much baby will weigh....with my 1st I gained 75 lbs and baby was 8 lbs 3oz, 2nd baby I gained 30 and baby was 8 lbs 13oz, my 3rd I gained 14 lbs and baby was 7 lbs 13 oz. So no matter what YOU gain baby will take from you what it needs to grow & thrive. BUT on the other side don't feel bad for gaining weight, FTM's tend to put on more weight then women who have had kids before. Your body wants to keep as much as possible to grow baby, it learns it doesn't need to hold on to so much in later pregnancies.

I am 24 weeks and have gained about 30lbs already.  I expect to gain around the same as I did with my first 2 which was 52lbs.  yes it ***** and yes it makes you feel unattractive but your carrying a baby (one of the biggest miracles we can witness!!)  I feel your pain tho, I say all the time how i feel so unattractive.

My doctor said it's healthier to gain than to not so I feel better knowing that also. I'm 37 weeks and my doctor guessed Alice weighs about 6 pounds now so things are right on track. (:

And just cause mom isn't gaining weight does not mean baby is not gaining weight. My lil boy is already a lil over 3 pounds. He's right in schedule

Im 32 weeks now and have only gained 9 pounds...while pregnant you are only suppose to eat 300 extra calories a day which is half a banana and half a bagel. But as long as you and baby are healthy don't stress too much. Its just weight you can always lose it

The thing is that I eat day in and day out. Cheeseburgers being one of my favs. Lol
The doc says he's measuring right on target so maybe its me losing the weight while he gains. I won't complain though since I'm 203 lbs already.

There's lots of people who gain under 10 lbs during pregnancy and have big healthy babies...how much yu gain has little to do with it. Im 34 weeks and have gained 30 lbs and yet my son has gotten little to none of that. At 33 weeks he weighed a whopping 3 1/2 lbs.
@steci if yer doctor isn't concerned then dont worry

Well that's really ridiculous. Hopefully your baby will be fine, if you're not gaining weight I doubt your baby is gaining much weight. Eat a cheeseburger girl, you need to be as healthy as possible for your baby. That makes me feel a little better about gaining so much because at least I know she's getting enough nutrition.

Thank you all for your comments. It makes me feel much better that I'm not the only one feeling this way and gaining this much weight. I thought I was doing something wrong but apparently it's quite normal. I know I'm not huge or anything but when you're used to being a certain size and then all of a sudden you're this big it's kinda hard. Yes, I will be doing all breastfeeding so it's good to know that that will be helping with me losing the weight. I was just starting to get a little worried that maybe I was over doing it. Thank you again for all your comments. I really appreciate it and it helped me a lot, you're all wonderful. c:

I am about the exact same situation as you, I feel your pain for sure. My dd is in 2 days, I have never felt so disgusting. Eating healthy and everything and I have still gained. I just keep looking at all my pre-pregnancy clothes and wondering if I will ever fit in them again. I have been the same size since I was 16, and I will be 27 in July. As selfish as it sounds, I'm glad it's not just me.

Psh, 160 and you feel fat? HA!! I was 224 before my son and 276 after. Didn't lose any between pregnancies because they were only 5 months apart. Now I'm 21+2 and 285lbs for baby 2. My husband is 6ft tall and 160lbs!! If he didn't have a primal attraction to pregnant women, I'd feel like a whale compared to him!

Definitely beastfeeding this time, btw!
