Well first of all stop stressing about the crying (it will most likely make it worse). Unless there has been a recent traumatic event in your life or you suffer from depression regularly, the pregnancy and all the hormones that go with it might be the route cause of this to begin with. The best medicine for this is to talk to your partner or a close friend or family member about how you are feeling and why you are feeling that way, it might help you relax. Also, getting hobbies which involve socializing with others may improve your mood greatly, Maybe there is an expectant/ new mom group in your community you can join. If it persists or you do suffer from depression or have had something traumatic happen recently talk to your doc or mental health professional. As far as the baby goes, they will be fine, trust me! My cousin lost her husband in a hunting accident when she was pregnant with their first and only child, he turned out fine. I for one was extremely ill and very depressed about it during my first pregnancy and my son is fine, fetuses are extremely resilient.
