I'm 21 and six weeks pregnant w/#1. If you are miscarrying then DON"T take an HPT, simply because it may stay positive for a week or two.
Do as mward suggested and go to the DR.
Plenty of women bleed during pregnancy. You should be ok. And if you are miscarrying, its NOT YOUR FAULT.
K?
feel free to email me @ ***@**** and check out babycenter.com
it'll be more helpful than this site, NO OFFENSE to anyone.. they just have more experience there.
I bled pretty good also with cramping for 3 days when I was pregnant with my son. I thought for sure I was losing him. I was so scared and in pain. Went to the E.R.they said it was a threatened misscarraige and the next day the bleeding and cramping stopped and now Nicholas is one year old.
My suggestion is to wait and go to the doctor for a follow up appointment to get checked out. I wouldn't suggest taking another pregnancy test because even if you were miscarrying, it would take some time for your levels (HCG) to go back to normal so you would probably get a positive no matter what was going on. Bleeding doesn't have to be a bad thing as long as it isn't accompanied by cramping. I had a miscarriage in September and I had light bleeding with bad cramping when I was miscarrying. Just relax and try not to worry.
what should happen if it is a miscarriage. do you recommend me buying another pregnancy test
Just lay down and relax today, and see what happens. Sometimes bleeding occurs but it doesn't always lead to miscarriage.
