Plan b is only 85% effective and is meant to be used if your primary contraceptive method fails so its possible u could be.  Good luck

I have heard plan b can mess up your hormones and periods.  I have never taken it personally but know a few who have, they had weird periods a month or two after and bad pms(they never had it b4 like that). Down the middle is kind of an odd place for cramps but plan b may be messing with ur hormones giving u the weird sensations i suspect. Either way good luck and hope things work out for you.

Sorry I didn't answer your question yet... No I have not tested yet.  But the pill can toy with your period.  I am miss stable mable most of the time so I will be, gritting my teeth to see one way or another.  And most likely I wont test until it is actully concidered missed.  If not then I guess now since plans have changed, then on with plan C.  LOL.  What cramps I have been having are on both and the twinges/pinches are in the middle. You could dang near draw a stright line from my belly button to where they are.

One there is no reason to have to give every little detail of how it happened and why, thats my business.  And sorry but judgemental answers no one likes them I am sure if you had a question and choose not to put that someone got what they wanted and left is that anyones business. Or my sex life is it any ones business.  I think not. (And for butterrss, I really wasn't even saying anything about your post other then its on the box there, so I am sorry if you or anyone eles is offended) I gave all the information needed for a answer.  And answers that just reads off the box, okay I still have that box I can read it anytime.  (I kept it around just in case anything bad really became a issue, so I could take it in if the doc visit was really needed) As for not feeling a thing with in two weeks (by the way you are lucky you didn't) ... this is not always true, the women in my family are known for it. One week before I knew I was preggers with my daughter I was not feeling well, and as many. I dismissed it for ovulation or pms with a flu on top.  As for going to the docs, one of the reasons I posted on here is because I seen that post have been answered by doctors.  And its a twing/pinch nothing that should send anyone to the E.R. (pains that are actully lesser then normal pms type)  Maybe yes I should have asked has some one ever experianced a twing/pinches not a or also with cramps after taking plan b pills (which alot of the early signs of preggers are on the box).  And yes maybe I should have put I read the box, but most people its common sense to read the box before you take things, I guess I asumed to much that others would think since she took the pills she has probably read the box.  I am sorry if I offened you for posting on here in the first place also responding to post, or if you didn't like that I chose a answer that was not judgemental and gave a actull answer it may not have answered all of them but it answered.  Thank you by the way Trying, by your nick name good luck to you too.

When are you due for your period?  Have you taken a test yet? If its positive and you are having one sided pain its good to get checked out just in case.  Good luck to you

With an Ectopic pregnancy the pains are different, and in this you're correct. The pains are one sided and are usually noticed anywhere from 6-8 weeks of pregnancy due to an increased size in the fetus and the limited amount of space it is in. The pain will be extremely sharp, and/or stabbing and you might notice bleeding as well.

ALL pregnancies (Ectopic or not) have cramping and pulling. The amount you feel varies, but nothing should ever be severe. Some is mild enough that a female might not notice it. Cramping alone doesn't indicate pregnancy either. It can be due to half a dozen other problems, so in and of itself means nothing.

If this was a recent incident (less than 2 weeks ago) nothing you feel is due to pregnancy-- after ovulation occurs it takes anywhere from 7-14 days for implantation to occur and then a few more for the hCG hormone to rise enough to be detected as well as cause any symptoms. Anything felt before this is not due to pregnancy and is either due to day to day life and/or other medical problems.

If you truly suspect pregnancy, see a doctor for blood testing to find out your hCG levels.

Go to the DR. Forum or in person. Don't defend youself, u didn't add in the details in the 1st place. Ask someone who would know, and tell them everything, get checked. /end

But first of all I wasn't using it for a main birthcontrol, I was using it for what it is suppose to be used for.  As for "in the head" its not, I can not imagen cramping or twings. And yes you can feel diffrent pains and such early for ectopic pregnancys along with normal pregnancys they are just diffrent so notice it some don't.  Which through research I have found that what I was feeling most likely are not for where they are happening in my body.  And as nicely as I can say next time I suggest that if all you are going to be is judgemental and qouting the box don't answer.  Congrats on your pregnancy, I hope it is a very health and happy baby.  And I wish you MANY simles and giggles.

First all I am trying to concive now (after fact, with already being a mom of one, thinking about it I don't want her growing up alone)... however when the condom slips off then it is there for is unprotected (so yeah I don't belive him that it just sliped off).  sometimes a step needs to be taken.  I don't need some one to tell me what I already know I have the common sense. I am not an inexperianced kid. And I am normally non-sexual unless I am in a relationship (which this one was not what I expected, I was a fling and didn't know I was) or in future case of artifcial insemination donation (long story that is only my business).  I needed a actul answers, not just what is on the box. I read the box, even called the "next choice" company and they have no answers but what is on the box.  And this would be the first time I have ever used Next Choice (Levonorgestrel tablets 0.75 mg) (plan B generic) and the last, I am normaly the type that what happens... happens. (but doesn't mean I am not allowed to second guess actions) So now if  I am then I am, Just have to hope its going to be normal.  As for it in my head I am sorry but I know it was not.  Cramping is on the side effects list not twings, that felt like being pinched from the inside, wondering if this is also a side effect I asked. And had guilt over it on both sides piror and after.  (For those in the future trying to figure things out about it) What I have learned is that plan B and other pills of such are just experimented with women during their possible ovulation not actully tested if ovulation is currently happening (which in truth if I knew that I wouldn't even had bothered).  And the day I took the pill the ovulation had stoped but the next day when tested again, the test said I was a little bit fertile.  And I wanted to know how many pregancys out of the 10% could be ectopic (which yes there is a very diffrent cramp that goes with that, and you can feel that anytime in the pregnancy) which is only about 2% out of the 10%. And normally they are due to other reasonings but for these few that already have cause for it; it can increase the chances. (which is online) I had to call a pharmacy, and online to get answers and facts.  And like the box and site says it will not rather has not been proven to cause the fetus to be deformed. (for those who havent read the box).  So not only have I learned from my experiance maybe others that are worried will also learn.

First off... You shouldn't be using plan B as a method of birth control...
Second, nothing is for sure..
You can still get pregnanct on regular birth control.. plan B just stops ovulation.
And, 15 hours after having sex.. there's no way you'd be able to tell is its an ectopic pregnancy.... I think its all in your head.
If you don't want to get pregnant, and you're having unprotected sex, I suggest you get on birth control.. even though that's not 100% either.
I just got pregnant on birth control in may.. So. Use condoms.
