I was lied to and need help.

Hello there,
I am new to this forum but I have a question PLEASE help me out. I had a tubal and a ablation doneLast year. I had very bad bleeding and this is what was recommended for me by my OBG. My doctor DID NOT tell me it would be almost impossible to get pregnant after the surgery. I was told 3-4 times I could still have kids of my own when ready. I was not ready to stop having kids. I am with my new husband and went to the doctor to discuss IVF because that is what my old OBG told me I could still have kids. But my new OBG says he doesnt understand the doctors telling me I could still have kids and dont worry about it.
Do you think I can still have a successful pregnancy if I tried IVF? I have heard of ways to making your uterus stronger. Anyone out there know how I can achieve this? My husband and I only want one child. I have seen all the success stories and hope someone out there can help me.

I agree with Clysta and would find a new doctor if you're uncomfortable with your current one who can be honest with you. Surrogacy or adoption may be the way to go.

The success stories are few and far in between. Pregnancy after ablation is a life threatening procedure, the reason being with a successful ablation, you have no lining left in your uterus. So the egg has nothing to attach to. Read about about every risk and see if that's something you would want to risk and put your family through. If you really want children, consider adoption or having another mother carry the child for you.
