I know that if your tubes are tied, and not burned you can definately still get pregnant.  It would mean that your tubes came untied!  But it wont necessarily mean an ectopic pregnancy either.  My friend had hers tied 4 years ago, and they came untied and she has a 1 year old from that now!  Perfectly healthy baby!  But I'd go to the doctors and get checked.

Some of the symtoms of ectopic are:

Sharp or stabbing pain that may come and go and vary in intensity. The pain may be in the pelvis, abdomen or even the shoulder and neck (due to blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy gathering up under the diaphragm).
Vaginal bleeding, heavier or lighter than your normal period
Gastrointestinal symptoms
Weakness, dizziness, or fainting

Yes it is possible to get pregnnat after having your tubes tied. an ultasound would help determine and maybe bloodwork getting hcg levels done. It will often result in a ectopic pregnancy (tubal) which can be life threatening. i am not sure of all the symptoms, cramps on one side and also shoulder pain are 2 that i know of
