I'M CONTRACTING!

At my dr. appointment this morning, it was confirmed that I am having contractions!!  I was contracting all day yesterday but they were really irregular.  They monitored me for an hour today and my dr. said that most of them were about 6 mintues apart, but some of them a little longer.  None of them were over 15 minutes apart though.  I'm not really dilated though....maybe a fingertip (  Hopefully I'll go into labor soon!

Well still no baby yet :(  My contractions are consistently 8 minutes apart, but they still aren't really hurting me yet.  Menstrual cramps have hurt worse than what I'm experiencing!

Shannon- I might be like you and contract for another few days or so...this has been going on since Sunday.

I'm 38 weeks 4 days.

I hope you're luckier than me. I have been contracting for well over a week now and still barely dilated. I am 39 weeks and 2 days today. I truly hope it happens for you soon because let me tell you... I am miserable!!! I am in pain and the contractions have been similar to what you describe as far as timing but have not yet progressed any further. My doctor thought I would have gone into labor this past weekend but still nothing. Well keep us posted and I will hope it happens for you soon.
