IS IT ALIVE?

Is it normal for nothing to show on a ultrasound?  I am 'supposibly' 8wks and 6 days, I went for my 1st vaginal sonogram yesturday, and the nurse nor dr. could see anything.  He said he wanted to to come back in today, and on monday for blood testing on my hcg levels.  He also said that he thinks it might just be too early to see anything, but my LMP started on Marck 15, and I am SURE of it!!  I'm so scared, this is all i've ever wanted.  Can anyone help me?

No, I have not had any bleeding.  NOT ANY.  the 1st prego test i took was on Apr. 17, and now and moth later would make me at least 4 wks.  I took 4 tests, and then went to the helth department, and they said it was a positive test as well.

thanks alot, that give me a little hope.  its  hard not to freak out though, but i'm trying to stay possitive and hope for the best, thanks again for your help, it means alot to me

i think he couldnt see. i went to for u/s yesterday. she couldnt see anything in 1st u/s (OB 1st triemester) n 2nd one ( veginal) she could see very later after a 10 minutes. when she was taking picture during this she said she cant seeing anything but she didnt gaveup. meight be he gaveup early and said he couldnt see. i would say go again for u/s i hope u find another person this time for doing u/s.
so dont worry i think u have baby n he is alive.did u got any heavy bleeding or somthing if no then u ve baby for sure.let me know when u get another u/s.good luck.

just because your lmp started then doesnt mean thats when you got pregnant. the same thing happened to me and how far along i am has been up in the air on several different occasions, i turned out to be slightly further along than they thought, but when i went in and was supposedly only 6 weeks they couldnt see anything either and now im 22 weeks and everythinsg fine!
just try and not freak out and wait for the blood test!

maybe you just ovulated later then you thought i always do i guess because acording to my lmp i should be 35 wks and according to my u/s i have been having i am 33 wks and the dr is going by the u/s don't give up hope yet
