IS THIS REALLY TRUE?

lately I've been told first pregnancies usually go past their due date and its not likely to go into labor sooner than later...

They don't say its gonna happen for sure but it is a "better chance" to go over on your first cuz your body has to get ready and do more then someone who has been prego before I just had my first baby 9 days ago and she was 4 days late but they had to induce me because I sprung a leak and she had low fluid

They say you are more likely to go past yeah but its not always true...my water broke at 38 weeks...

I definitely dont believe its true! This is my first pregnancy too & im 38w 3d and everyone is saying ill prob go over my due date.. Its so annoying . i know my baby will come when ready and im fine with that but i hate being reminded that ill have to wait longer to hold my little bundle! :( But i have talked to alot of mothers around were i live and on the net and it really is half and half.. Some had early babies and others went over due.. I dont think if irs your first its automathically gonna be late! Hope this helps hun.. :) You will have your baby soon anyway.. even of you go over its only by 14 days at the max :) :) xxxxxx
