IVF Transfer

I recently had a frozen embryo transfer on 3/4th. I took a hpt this morning, the 11th, and it was negative. Has anyone ever had a bfn 7 days after a IVF transfer and went to the dr. for blood test and was pregnant?

My best friend did a frozen cycle and it was about 3 weeks when she took a test and it was positive. She only had one egg and she is expecting identical twins in August. This is her second try, the first failing, but her first wasn't a frozen cycle. Good luck :)

Yes.. I did.  I did the fresh which did not take and the frozen.  I had the embryos 3-  transfered on a Wednesday- I had blood work drawn on the following Tuesday (6days after transfer)  by my family physician as well as a urine pregnancy test (the blood was the yes/no) and both came back negative.  I was devesated.  Took a HPT on that Friday - and it was faintly positive.. took another on Saturday and Sunday both positive - blood on monday at my RE and it was positive.. I am due July 25th.  Best of LUCK!! Just note - 6 days after transfer there was not enough HCG detected in the yes/no blood test - dont' give up hope!!
