Implantation bleeding or period?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago. I have been having dark brown spotting for the past three days and occasionally it will become a little heavier for an hour at most, not heavy like a period flow would be though. I have also been really dizzy and nauseous, not to the point of vomiting however.  I was just wondering if this could possibly be implantation bleeding or just a weird period?  My periods are always irregular so it is hard to tell when i am suppose to get it.

Sometimes it takes the bleeding from implantation a while to come out in that case it would be brown, brown just means old blood. It is possible that is what you are experiencing but normally it would probly be about a week ago you should have had it. It is normally 1-2 weeks after but could happen later and if it does results in brown blood. You could also be pregnant and just having early pregnancy bleeding which is also normal. If the unprotected sex was 3 wks ago and you were preggo it would show on a test. Good luck.

Weird period. Implantation bleeding is usually about a week after you have unprotected sex (since it takes about a week for the baby to implant) and is usually just spotting and pink. It wouldn't come three weeks after and it wouldn't be brown.
