Implantation bleeding?

hello all,
wondering if anyone has an opinion on my situation...
my husband and I have been trying for child #2 for the last 3 years (our oldest will be 6 this year) and have been having a hard time.
This past summer we had an ectopic pregnancy, but we managed to get pregnant using the ovulation test which was the silver lining in the situation.
In the last 4 months my cycles have been somewhat inconsistent,
Nov - 30 days, Dec - 31 days, Jan - 44 days and this month I bought the digital ovulation test and tested positive for ovulation on day 14 of my cycle.
On day 28 I got a very light bleeding and figured my period is about to start, so I put on a pad and noticed that I never bled onto the pad  Mind you I was passing blood when I peed, but also not every single time.  After 3 days of that I was cleaning out just brownish discharge.
I did test on day 30, but got a negative result. I want to be realistic, but It's hard to let go of the hope....basically, do you think I still have hope? today is day 33 of my cycle, I have no cramps, no blood and my boobs are bigger than usual (so my husband says)...
promise to update, and would love some feedback.
thanks

the light bleeding you experienced sounds like breakthough bleeding this occurs early in pregnancy when the egg has implanted and there isnt quite enough hcg in your system to stop a small period like bleed but enough to keep the pregnancy viable, implantaion bleeding as has been previously said usually occurs from around  7-10  days after ovulation, and isnt usually heavy, just a few spots,  and increase in nipple size and the colustrum would be another indication of pregnancy, some women dont test positive on hpt's for some weeks and the odd ones dont test pos at all for some reason, def treat yourself as pregnant until you either get a pos on a hpt or your period arrives :)

You usually wouldn't get that this early on so I'm not sure why you were getting that. Maybe there was just some there from when you used to feed your daughter and only came out because of what you were doing. All you can do is wait until you test and see what the result is.

ooookkkkkaaaayyyy...so I was "messing around" with my nipples..lol..that sounds really funny..but seriously..my right breast started  leaking some clear liquid - kind of like the colustrum (sp) that I had when I was feeding my daughter and that never happens to me.
I hate this waiting thing!!! will check Sunday with my first urine, if negative I'm going to get a freaking blood test...this is too wierd!

anyone else here produced the boob juice as an early sign?

You wouldn't be getting those sort of symptoms yet though. Those usually come a little later. Definitely test with first morning urine - if that's negative then you're probably not pregnant.

I know...i guess the only way to know is to test, but I've been jumping the gun and testing every time except first thing in the morning and of course I am dissapointed. It is now day 34 and 2 hours after waking up it was negative again.
Also noticed my nipples are huge and I'm getting bumps around...I really hope it's not just in my head.
thanks for the support, that's really what I'm here for...

Well I don't know my doctor told me different information. I am just stating what she told me but everyone is different it's best to speak to your doctor...none of us are doctors and they would have better answers for you.

well I didn't get it with my first pregnancy at all which is why this is so new to me.  I just usually fill up pads and this time it was almost nothing, but still something. the anticipation is killing me!!!

Implantation occurs when the fertilised egg is implanting into your uterine lining. This can happen anywhere from 6 days onwards from ovulation. If it was weeks 8-10 then you would already be pregnant and it would not be implantation bleeding so that information is wrong.

Bare in mind that implantation bleeding is not common and not every women gets it - I certainly didn't. Maybe you've just had an 'off' cycle for some reason. It happens. You're previous cycles weren't that consistent to begin with anyway. I would wait another week and then re test with first morning and if that's negative then you'er definitely not pregnant and you just had a weird cycle.

By the way, I tested the day my period was due and got a negative result. It wasn't until I tested 2 days later than I got positive on the test, which is why I said to wait about a week then you've left enough time for the hormone levels to rise if you are pregnant and it would be picked up.

really? everywhere that i read, it said that it usually takes place 6-12 days after conception.  it's crazy how unique every woman is.
i hate seeing the negative test result, that's why I want to wait another week to test, but I'm driving myself crazy in the meanwhile.
I was wondering if anyone had their urine test result test positive so late after their period is due..

I had implantation bleeding but it usually occurs between weeks eight to ten. I would check in with your doctor.
