Inconclusive test result

RZ1
I am really hoping someone can help! I am 33 years old and on the 12th took a home pregnancy test which came out positive.  I was thrilled as I had been told that getting pregnant would be difficult to say the least.  I have been queasy and exhausted I feel like I am always having to go to the bathroom and my breasts are so tender I can barely stand to have them touched.  I went for my dr's appointment on the 21st where she just did a urine test, this came back "inconclusive".  She sent me for a blood test but told me that her hunch was I was not pregnant, or it didn't take.  She never asked any questions at this point just told me that most likely I had lost it.  As I was leaving almost as an afterthought she asked me how I have been feeling, I told her some of what I felt and she said that they were all good pregnancy symptoms.  I hadn't really eaten a whole lot had been drinking tea all day, which was making me pee even more often and I had gone to the bathroom right before i went for my appointment  Once I got home of course took another test and it came back positive but since it was the evening I decided to do yet another one but wait until morning.  I did this and it also came back positive.  I used two different tests and both came out postive!  I have not had any remarkable or even memorable cramping and also no spotting or bleeding, aren't you supposed to? I have heard that drinking large amounts of fluids before a test can dilute it and make the results inconclusive, is this possible?  I should hear back tommorrow with the blood test results, but right now and for the last few days I am just just and generally upset, if I am pregnant this is supposed to be one of the happiest times of our lives, and its not.

That happened to me with my last baby.  7 pos. home tests, 1 neg. blood test.  The lab tech had to run it to pick up lower levels of hcg.  She is 3 yrs. old now.  Everybody is different, we all put out different amounts of hcg.  That's why some can test "5" days before their missed cycle, and people like us have to wait 6 long weeks.  Lol.  Good Luck.

Seriously, the Dr's tests SUCK!! Everytime I'm pregnant I go to the dr. and they say "how many tests did you take?" I don't want to say, like a hundred, hee hee. They are not that sensitive and take forever and a day to show up. Don't worry, sounds like you are pregnant to me :) I get my 3rd beta back tomorrow, I'm scared to death!

Sounds like your pregnant to me. If her test came out not positive it could just be that they aren't as sensitive as the one you took at home. Keep faith that's why she is having you do the blood test to see if there are any traces of HCG in your system. Good luck and keep us informed!
