Induction Stories.

I am being induced Monday morning, but have to be in the hospital tomorrow night.  I am a FTM so I just wanted to hear some of your guys's induction stories.  Was labor long?  :)

I was induced with my first. When they went to thin my cervix it was already thinned so they started on petocin. Contractions started right away and within a about 3 hours they broke my water, after that contractions were very strong. I about five hours into it I was still at 5 centimeters, and a lot of pain so I got the epidural. It relaxed me so much that within 2 hours I was at 10 centimeters. I only had to push for about 10 minutes. My total labor was 7 hours, way better then what I thought it would be. They told ,e it could be anywhere between 24 to 48 hours. Good luck to you ladies, bring relaxed makes all the difference.

I was induced with my first child and was only in labor for 8 hours

I would be upset too.  Why wouldn't they keep you and keep trying.  I'm worried now.  I hope everything works out this time around for you.  :/

I went in for induction yesterday and had the 2 pills and got a few contractions. My cervix wasnt ripe either. Got sent home today for a day of rest and have to back in the morning for another pill and then will break my waters if i dialate etc.. Long process and got myself rather upset cause i was expecting after 2 pills x

I would like to know too. I am being induced Monday n have to be there tomorrow for them to insert the pill to help ripen my cervix
