I had an irregular shaped sac the 1st time and now have a 1 1/2 yr old. I now have it again w/ this baby (7wks along) and my doc is concerned. When they mentioned it I thought 4 sure I'd had it before. I compared my son's old u/s w/ this one and it looks very similar. I found out on this site that it could look that way from having a tilted uterus and doing the u/s trans vaginally. Does this apply to you? I a,m still hoping for the best w/ this pregnancy. I also just had a bleed that was attributed to a subchorionic hemmorage (spotted last week, but we weren't warned ahead of time). I was scared to death.
Good luck to you.
typo** pregnancy not pregnant
my OBGYN said that she had patients that had irregular gestational sacs and became normal but when I tried to search it online I never heard anyone that had successful pregnant with an irregular sac or anyone that had irregular gestational sac became normal.
At my first pregnancy I had that experience. The irregular shaped sack caused by subchorionic haematoma. Also there wese no heart beat till the 8 weeks. It was a missed abortion and ended with D&C. But if the doc told you that the baby grew from the last us you should wait and dont hurry with your decisions. Maybe there are chances for your baby.
