Is 4oz ok for a baby at 15 weeks and 4 days?? The tech didnt seem to think so. I read is was normal...

Ok i think i was 15 weeks and 4 days and when i went to the hospital for bad pains i got an ultrasound done. The heartrate was 158 and the little guy/girl was moving around. He/she seemed cramped though to me anyways its legs were bent to its butt lol and the arm over its head. They do think i have a bicornuate utuers. I asked her if the baby has enough room to grow still and she said "oh yea". She also said hmm your baby is only 4oz. I said oh ok thats normal i saw on a few pregnancy sights that the baby is between 2-5oz. She looked at me and said "if you say so..." what kind of answer is that?? I just now thought of that becasue i dont look pregnant like all the other pics ive seen where the belly is rounded. Im bigger but just look like i put on more weight.... Thanks!

Thanks guys :) i knew the days and weeks always change but i saw the baby is suppose to be 2 oz at 15 weeks and 3 at 16 weeks. I just figured mine was a little bigger. I wasnt too worried though. As long as its growing:) Well im about 17 weeks and still dont look pregnant...just fat lol Ah well, at least i get a few more weeks of comfortable sleep and shaving my legs. hehe

Well, u/s techs are technically suppose to say anything, unless it's boy or girl!  LOL  She does sound like a ding bat though!

If there was a problem the doctor would have told you!  All babies will vary in weight, and for that gestation age it sounds fine!

Don't worry, if there was a problem you'd here from your Dr. At 19w3d my baby was 10oz and it does a lot a growing in those few weeks. Also remember the measurements in a u/s act as a guide and can be off by as much as 2 weeks. My sil had her due date (by u/s) changed so many times it wasn't funny, sometimes there was a 2 week difference and my nephew came out just fine about a week after her date from last period

Sounds normal to me and your u/s tech sounds like a dingbat...I wasn't showing at 15 weeks...well, my pants wouldn't button, my waist had 'thickened' but I didn't look pregnant...my husband was even concerned but I hit 16 weeks and I literally popped!  I now have a baby bump belly (small) but all my tops are loose now so no one can see unless I pull my shirt back.

I forgot to mention when i went in i ws suppose to be 15 week exactly based on all my other 3 ultrasound so i should of been on time. So they moved my date a few days back. So is the baby just big? or is there something wrong?
