Is a cup of coffee a day okay?

we're trying to have a baby.  i have to have a cup of coffee a day. nothing strong, just regular drip, something that helps with the daily headaches.  some people are telling me to cut coffee out of the system because it makes it difficult to conceive. anyone heard of this?

also, once pregnant, is a cup a day okay?

Its okay to have a little bit of caffeine during pregnancy. Since you only have one a day its alright. They say you shouldn't drink more then two cups of caffinated beverages a day (soda, coffee, tea). You should be fine though. I stopped drinking caffeine altogether, but I didn't drink coffee to help keep me up and moving, just soda during the day. So for ones that do drink coffee daily I'm pretty sure its okay as long as its limited. As for trying to conceive, I don't know if it makes a difference with caffeine, that question another person can answer :). Good luck!
