it really doesnt mean much of anything. i was in so much pain for most of my pregnant. it always felt like my pelvis was going to break and was being pulled apart. the doctor said it was because my son wasnt a feather weight and he was hevy for my pleivs.

i was feeling such bad pelvis pain from the middle of my second trimester.....and i was three days overdue so i didnt go into labor. and i was 0 cms dilated until i went into labor so

Agree with carissarae. Your hip bones shift so that baby can descend into the pelvis. Depending on many things (like how low baby is) is probably why it hurt for her and you never noticed with your pregnancy.

i have that also. its from the baby being down so low and the bones getting ready for delivery

I dont know about it being a sign on dialation. Maybe severe strectching of her round ligaments. Everyone feels the stretching differently. The whole pelvis ting could be her sciatic nerve bothering her which is also completely normal. Other than that, I have *Never* heard that there were signs of dialation besides having contractions.

I hope she feels better soon.
