Is it too early to feel baby move?

I am exactly 12 weeks with baby # 2. I have felt a slight "quickening" or "butteryfly" feeling on and off the past 2 days. I didn't feel my son move until I was almost 16 weeks. Is it too early? I really don' think it is gas? How early have some of you felt this????

I am 13w2d and I have been feeling the same thing and this is my second pregnancy.  I think I know the difference between gas and baby by now and these feelings are def. baby!!

actually I felt butterfly movements at 12 weeks for about 3 weeks, then it went away for a week, then I'd feel something for a few days, off and on. This is my very first baby. So I was suprised, but it was the baby. I've felt it stronger since and i'm 19weeks

agree! since the muscle have been previously stretched and you KNOW the feeling from before, i wouldn't doubt you are feeling the baby :)

Definitely not too early especially considering this is not your first (movement is often felt much earlier w/ subsequent pregnancies).
