Is my baby just being lazy??? Or should I worry?

I'm 19 weeks today. I just started feeling the baby kick about a week or 2 ago. Usually he is pretty active atleast at night. But the past 2 days I barely feel him move. Every now and then I feel a little poke...but not the big kicks I was feeling just a few days ago.
Should I be worried? What is normal as far as movement and all that?

I started feeling my lil bugger around 14 weeks. But it wasn't until around week 25 that the movements became more regular. I went almost 2 days without feeling anything and of course freaked out! That's when I ordered my doppler! Wow, did that always make me feel better. My baby still has quiet days and then active days at  30 1/2 weeks. I always worry because I don't feel the baby every 5 minutes! lol. But as long as you are feeling something, it's okay. =)

have you been pretty active yourself? Sometimes its hard to notice movement if you are active yourself.  I worried abit a few days ago.  and I waited a lil bit after lying down tapped my tummy a few times and nothing  Soon as I got really tired, he started really moving. I think he was just sleeping.  But like the other BTS said you can chart movement.  I think they say 6 movement in an hour is pretty good.  And trust me even the lil movements count. ~d

I wouldn't classify a child as lazy.

I would say he's probably turned around. When you first begin to feel movement, you can feel strong movements for a few days and then not much the next few. I know that it wasn't until closer to 24-26 weeks that I felt constant movement or body parts from my little ones.

Just take it easy!

I would consider going to get a check up, they would probably do a fetal non stress test which is just monitoring the baby's heartbeat. I know when I was 19 weeks and had the same issue, I had to lay down 4 times a day and do a kick chart, and then had to bring the chart back to my doctor once a week.

He maybe just a little lazy, but you can never tell unless you have an ultrasound making sure he isnt in any stress. It is impossible to guess what they are doing in their unless you feel them playing the drums on your bladder. Id say make an appointment with your OB. It's better safe than sorry.
