Is this a post pardum issue?

My son is 5 weeks today.
For the past 2 weeks about, I've been getting sharp pains in the center of my upper stomach everytime after I eat.
It's mild sometimes and sometimes it's very uncomfortable.

My appitite hasn't been so good and I haven't been eating very good at all.
I probably eat about 1,000 calories worth of food a day now. It's not much.
I wanna eat more because I'm breastfeeding but the thought of food makes me wanna barf half the time and ofcoarse I dread the stomach pain afterwards.

It all started when hubby and I went out to eat at Applebees 2 weeks or so ago.
We were running errons so I didn't eat at all that day until we went out for dinner later that night.

My stomach started hurting pretty bad and stayed hurting for the whole next day.
Then it went away and I was relieved.

I figured that it was just cuz I hadn't eaten at all that day that it was hurting me like that because I've done that to myself before. So I wasn't worried about it.

But then noticed it would start hurting again after I eat.
Every single time I eat it does this and I dunno wtf is wrong with my stomach.

My MIL said something about galstones.
So I was looking it up online and I don't have any sympoms that go with galstones.

I'm pretty sure I have IBS. I've been having symptoms of IBS around the time I think I got pregnant with my son.
I'm always constipated or have diahrea and am gassy all the time. Rarely do I have a "Normal" BM.
I dunno if this could be related.

I dunno if this could be a post pardum thing that will eventually go away?
Or if this could be linked to my possible IBS?
Or maybe it's just cuz of my eating habbits lately.

I don't remember having any pains today. If I did it wasn't noticable enough cuz I was too busy with cramping because I got my first period today.
I did eat lunch today and a couple little snacks.
Yesterday I only ate a little snack and then ate dinner and I remember my stomach hurting.

I'm calling my doc tomorrow incase it could be something serious.
I saw him the other day and forgot to tell him about it, so I'm going to call him tomorrow.

Also I've been on a cr@p ton of medications since I've had my son.
I was on 2 different antibiotics about a month before I had him for an ear infection that wouldn't and STILL hasn't fully gone away.
After I had him I was put on about 5 different antibiotics for my c-section inscision because I wouldn't heal and stop being infected, but it finally healed up and the odor is almost completely gone so that means the infection is just about gone.
And now I'm on another antibiotic for a sinus infection.
I dunno if this could be related to that because, pardon my language, but, that's alot of god d@mn antibiotics for one person in such a short time frame.

I've been losing weight like crazy.
I lost all my baby weight in only a couple weeks, and now I've lost over 10 lbs.
I mean I'm enjoying the weight loss because I am as of now, still 20 lbs overweight. But I wanna be able to eat for my son because he needs my milk.

Pregnancy is the main cause of gallstones.  I know exactly what you mean about that airpocket pain feeling.  It feels like it's under your ribs or diaphragm.  That's gallstones.  The pain is caused when a stone gets clogged in the duct that produces bile.  Sometimes the stone can dislodge after time and that's why you feel the pain subsiding.  I didn't start feeling the effects of the stones until a month after my son was born and the pain used to subside after a couple hours.  The time when it didn't go away, it was worse than labor pains.  I was up all night, I would eat and then throw up, I had chills, only a hot shower helped to feel better but I was buckled over in pain.  I went to the gastro doctor and he sent me for a ultrasound and he said I better go to the hospital.  After a while the pain went away and that was because the stone rolled back down out of the duct.  But the gall bladder had to be removed.  Fatty foods and especially fried foods exaserbate the gall bladder.  They give you a list of all foods that don't cause a flare.  I would definitely get it checked out and if you have any of the symptoms I had go right away to the ER.

I've taken Clindamycin, Cephalexin, Sulfameth/trimethoprim, I've taken Azithromycin TWICE. Once for the ear infection, and I'm taking it again right now for my sinus infection.
Those are the only once I kept the papers for. There's a few others. One was a shot that my obgyn gave me as a booster while I was already taking antibiotics.

AHP84 ~ Y'know you might be right!
Cuz he does seem to get extra fussy sometimes after he eat.
But the reflux medacine is really helping cuz he could be really fussy after eating from the reflux too.
Or maybe both?

Eating doesn't make me feel sick to my stomach at all.
I just have been getting nauseated at the THOUGHT of some foods for some reason.
I've gone through phazes like this before where I didn't wanna eat because nothing was appitizing. Not to mention the thought of some of my MIL's cooking is enough to make a dog run away. lol. I'm from up north, and her sounthern cooking isn't exactly my choice in food. They eat alot of fried things, and I don't really care too much for most of it and prefer to just pick at it and to make it look like I'm eating so she doesn't get offended. And after everyone leaves the table, I go dump it and wait till later on cuz she goes to bed really early so I just eat something else when she's not around. She's VERY defensive about her cooking. lol

It doesn't feel like a pressure.
It kinda feels like, I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but it feels like really bad fart cramps. lol
Like in my upper stomach and is too high to come out just yet.
It happens usually almost right after I'm done putting food in my stomach and can last for a few minutes up to a few hours. Sometimes if it's after dinner I've gone to bed with it still hurting, and woke up in the middle of the night to tend to the baby and it still hurts.

I dunno.
It could be because I've been going for long periods without eating, and once I do eat, my MIL says from being empty for so long you get air pockets or something like that and when you put food in it it hurts your stomach. I dunno I guess that kinda makes sense.
But those gallstones are kinda worrying me.
My mom said she has one because she got that lap band and has lost a BUNCH of weight, and it says rapid weight loss can cause gallstones.
My weight has been fluctuating alot. I went from 234 before I got pregnant with my daughter, down to 189 by the time I hit 3 months with her [[I was really sick the first 3 months with her]] up to 242 the day before I had her.
A month later I was back down to 202.
When I found out I was 3 months pregnant with my son,  I was down to 195. And I was 220 before I had him, and 2-3 weeks later I weighed 197. And now I was weighed a few days ago and am down to 189 again and probably weigh a pound or two less now.

I dunn think that's very much of a drastic weight loss to be enough to cause stones. But like I said my hubby and his family eat alot of fried foods and that's not good so I'm thinking if I do have them, that could be the cause.

But then again I haven't been having any pain these past 2 days. Maybe it was just from not eating good?
Or it could be from all the antibiotics.
I'm thinking that is my best bet right there because why so sudden, y'know?
Why NOW.
I've been eating like this for 3 almost 4 years. I've been fluctuating with my weight for years now.
I'm thinking it's the antibiotics, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Certain antibiotics absolutely trash my upper stomach - particularly anything in the "myicin" family, like erythromyicin.  What type of antibiotics are you taking?  Certain ones you should take with food or it will eat you up inside.

Also, I just got to thinking that you've mentioned your son has been fussy lately, and is now taking reflux meds.
I'm wondering...if you're breastfeeding him while you're taking all those antibiotics, if he is having the same stomach pains as you are, if in fact your issue is simply caused by the antibiotics killing off all your beneficial digestive bacteria. You may both need probiotic supplements. Just a thought you might want to bring up to your doctor as well as your son's pediatrician.

You need to see a gastroenterologist. It could be a number of things from a food intolerance, to GERD, to your gallbladder, to some type of colon issue.
I have IBS and I can tell you from many, many years of experience that IBS does not usually make you feel sick to your stomach (I'm speaking of the actual stomach, not the abdominal area) like you describe. I can eat anything I want and feel 100% fine when I eat it and the few hours afterwards; it's when the food hits my colon when it hurts and feels like I'll die sitting on a toilet seat. It's this way for others I know with IBS as well.
Also, with all the antibiotics you've been taking, you may have developed a digestive issue because you have killed off all the beneficial digestive bacteria in your system along with the bad bacteria. Your issue may be as simple as that and nothing more is wrong with you. If that's the case, you will just need to supplement your diet with a lot of probiotics like yogurt and acidophilus (which can be found in some brands of milk, or in a dietary supplement pill).
But definitely see if you can get your doctor to refer you to a gastroenterologist.

Yikes, I had that and it turned out to be gall stones.  It feels like an uncomfortable pressure right?  It happens a lot during pregnancy, especially when we fluctuate in our weight.  I would go get your gall bladder checked out.  Go to a gastrointestinal doctor immediately.  It got so bad for me that I had a stone blocking the bile duct and started vomiting and had to go in for emergency surgery.  Thank god, the stone unblocked and I could then schedule my own day for surgery.  You have to be very careful of what you eat.  No fatty foods.  I would get it checked though.

silly question, but any chance you're lactose intolerant? The symptoms you describe may match it if you happen to have dairy at meals. Many people develop lactose intolerance during adulthood. I developed it at 18.
