I had bad nausea most of my first trimester. Never threw up once though. If its that bad there are a few medicines your doctor can prescribe. I got zofran and it worked amazing. It let up at the beginning of my second trimester and now in my third I get it only occasionally.  Try crackers like other people suggest. I was craving first orange juice and than apply juice and sipping it eased my stomach a little. Good luck.
