It's about that time..

Ok so today I am officially 36 weeks so my doctor told me at my visit yesterday that I'll be coming in every week from this point up until my baby boy arrives plus at my next visit they're gonna give me all my papers so that if I do go into labor I'll have all my information on me already. So I wanna know, since I can go into labor at any moment now, how will I know it's that time? Like what are a few things I should be looking for?

Thank you both, im still waiting on him to drop. Is it going to be painful when he's dropping cause I've been having severe cramps in my lower stomach and it shoots down which causes me to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth.

Well, one thing is your water might break. That is the most obvious. It'll be like you peed, but you didn't. When that happens, go to the hospital right away.
Another way it might happen is contractions. I'm sure you've been feeling "fake" ones, but these will be the real deal. Your back will hurt, you won't be able to sleep... Once they get about 5 minutes apart, for a while, go in to the hospital.
Good luck! Hope everything goes smoothly. :)
