I havent felt like I have had a whole lot of cravings this pregnancy... but maybe cravings just are different to me than I imagined them.. Im totally turned off fish right now.. i try to eat it once a week for a change but it just disgusts me, i usually eat a bit of it but never enjoy it... i was also really turned off chicken for a while but that seems to have passed..
I love pasta, and bread! I cant get sick of it.. it soooo good........ I also love eggs!!! eggs were my protein savior in the beginning when I couldnt eat chicken.. Im also the fan of mexican food but thats not out of the ordinary for me.. though between 9 and 11 weeks i would throw up off of it... And sweets sweets sweets.. Im usually not a huge sweets person but now I find if they are in front of me, I need them eat them... In the beginning I would totally avoid them then I gave in and now its like I cant stop myself... I dont eat sweets everyday but its like before where I would be at work and be like i dont need that pie, its not good for me, its like now i cant.... Today I had 4 sweet treats, which is extreme for me.. when i say i cant control myself around the sweets, it is normally like ill have ot try 1 cookie or have a small piece of cake. its not like that bad.. but before inthe beginning of the pregnancy, i always wanted it and would say no.
i have extreme food guilt.. its so bad... the sweets are not doign it to me as much anymore... but i broke down at work one day and had a hot dog because i was so craving it and i didnt want peanut butter and jelly again. .So i ate this hot dog and I literally beat myself up about it for hours..... that night i was still crying to my husband about it... i dont know why but when i eat unhealthy i feel so guilty right now... probably the hormones????
we are going camping this weekend for a night and i love chilli dogs while camping so we bought these all natural hot dogs with no preservatives or sodium nitrates in it so i wouldnt have to feel guilty.
I was just looking at nectarines yesterday! And plums. I have not had a plum in a VERYYYYYY long time. Sounds so good though. Cold juicy fruit in this ridiculous heat... I must get some now!!! LOL
With my last pregnancy I swear through the whole thing (and I ate it pretty much everyday) I wanted spinach and artichoke dip! With this one (I am 9 weeks today) I pretty much cant stand to look at or smell most things other than steamed FRESH veggies.....
oh the food cravings! with my last pregnancy, i literally lived off of potato chips and oranges for months. it's terrible, but that was all i could managed to eat. and the smell or thought of a juicy hamburger was sickening. oh, and absolutely no sweets. no baked goods whatsoever. this time around, it's quite the opposite. i don't care much for potato chips or oranges. although i did go through a stage of eating nothing but fresh fruits. lots and lots of fresh fruits like berries, nectarines, kiwis, and mangoes just to name a few. also this time, i'd down any baked goods in sight. this baby must love sweet stuff or baked goods, who knows. not to mention, i'm not a big coffee drinker, never really cared for coffee, but boy do i crave it every once in a while. that's really strange coming from someone who doesn't drink coffee or caffeinated (soda, etc) drinks. oh, and the thought of possibly downing a hamburger this time around doesn't seem so bad, although i don't think i'm brave enough to bare through the smell of it just yet. i've been telling everyone before this baby comes out i'll eat a hamburger, so we'll see. :)
I'm 7 weeks and about a week before I got my BFP I was wanting ICE ICE AND MORE ICE lol now I'm all about meat I've never been much of a meat eater but for the past week I've been wanting steak and carne asada (grilled meat) with lime and cilantro also been wanting guacamole with tostadas...if you can't tell I'm hispanic lol love being ♥pregnant♥
My husband has made me grilled corn on the cob almost every night for the past 2 weeks. I love it with butter and salt! YUM! Also loving whipped mashed potatoes with butter & salt & definitely all mexican food.
Hmmm... and I'm wondering how I've gained 22 lbs in 26 weeks....
This is funny, last night we took a picture of me with half a hollowed out watermelon. I ate the entire thing. I crave fresh fruit, cereal and mexican food. 29 weeks and my appetite is out of control! All of a sudden I could eat non-stop.
i'm 11 weeks i've been wanting peaches, nectarines and apple danish toaster strudels they are so good i would eat them all day if i could
I'm 10 weeks and am not that keen on meat this pregnancy either, which must be why I've been craving eggs like mad to get my protein fix! touch wood my all day nausea seems to be subsiding now too...but if i do fancy anything meat related it's curry!!! have had 2 curries in the past week....posting this hasn't helped cos i could just eat one now! :D

LOL seriously I'm a bottomless pit right now, which is typical...after about week 8 i lose all desire to eat.
I had a bite of a hamburger that was cooked last night and nearly gagged so needless to say, I had cereal instead Lol... I've been off meat a little too unless it's chicken which I LOVEEEEEE. lol
Well, I'm not very far along I'm only 9 weeks but my cravings were what tipped my husband off that I was pregnant!! From before I knew I was pregnant to about 5 weeks ALL I wanted was hot sauce, and buffalo wings!!! Where we live we don't have any GOOD wing places around us. The nearest GOOD wing place is an hour north of us. So one day I BEGGED my husband to go up there and get wings. It wasn't even just a craving, I felt like if I didn't go get these wings my life was going to end!!! That was the day my husband knew I was pregnant!! About a week later I actually got my BFP!
So the hot sauce/buffalo wings were short lived. After that craving I really didn't want anything. But starting at about 7 weeks I started wanting veggies, all veggies JUST veggies. I feel like I want to be a vegitarian!! For dinner the other night I had a sliced up cucumber with a little salt and pepper! And I really wanted a sliced up tomatoe to go with it but we didn't have any in the house. And generally I've been eating mostly salads! I can't get enough veggies right now! Which is cool, my mom acctually ate nothing but veggies when she was pregnant with me! The thought of any kind of meat right now just grosses me out... but again I'm not very far along but those are my cravings so far!!!
