Also it doesn't generally have to be sex, can just be an orgasm! So even if you achieve one yourself it releases oxytocin!

I have eaten tonnes of fresh pineapple throughout my pregnancy and nothing has changed.
I've been having lots of sex, bouncing on exercise ball, walking (even bought a treadmill), evening primrose oil (orally and vaginally), spicy food and nothing has happened yet :( I tried nipple stimulation but it feels horrible for me so I couldn't do it. They say using your breast pump can also work :)

Ask your ob if you can have a membrane sweep done. I heard that can help you go into labor

I've tried squats did 20 and was sooooo out of breath lol !! I'll be waiting till after the weekend everything I can sense I still need a few things for my Babygirl. I'm just so afraid she'll come after due date. I'm a FTM and I've heard that first baby's are most likely to be late ): and I'm over the pregnant tbh..

Yeah nipple stimulation gives me contractions but only for a little while and it's messy. Sex (combined with sperm and an orgasm) give me cramps and a lot of pressure for a much longer amount of time. I haven't tried squats because I'm afraid my fat butt will fall over lol but I did start bouncing up and down earlier today and that caused some cramps as well

No problem. I keep seeing most girls are trying the raspberry leaf tea so I'll be trying that next lol since tge other things have only caused me to get false contractions

That was a very helpful comment (: I wish I can try sex but my bf is working at another state and comes every 2 weeks only on weekends so I can't get much of that but I'll forsure try everything else (:

38 weeks and still at 1cm, hoping doctor tells me different this friday. So far what I've been doing to jump start my labor is: sex, squats, cinnamon tea, and nipple stimulation

Idk I'm 37 weeks as of midnight and I was 1 cm at my 35 week check up and I lost my mucus plug a few days ago. I'm not sure if that means my body is ready. I guess all we can do is try and if these things don't work then we'll know we aren't ready

I've been 1cm dilated for 3 weeks now. Does that mean my body is ready?

It's a message a woman received from her midwife to help her go into labor. She said it worked and she was in labor a little while after doing it!

"First, do this rub-the-belly-squat thingy in the morning when you are really ready should labor start. If you do it at 4 pm and labor begins at 9 pm, you'll be tired! For as long as you can, try the following. Rub your belly with a flat palm quite vigorously in a clockwise circle, around around around (don't be shy to be firm with your touch), for 1 minute (the average length of a contraction). This will stimulate a Braxton Hicks contraction. Next, for 3 minutes (the average you-know-you're-in-labor-when length of break between contractions) do your own combination of a wide-legged lungy type of walking (big, wide-open pelvis---you'll look ridiculous, so do it where you can be free of onlookers!) and squats. Walk walk squat, walk walk lunge---whatever---for 3 minutes. Think wide pelvis, deep squats. You can also put one leg up on stairs and lunge upwards into it (easier than lunging down towards the ground!). Do this rub-the-belly for 1 minute and lunge-squat-walk for 3 minutes for as long as you can. Rest. Repeat! It has been known to bring labor on, if the body is ready. If it's not quite ready, rest and try again the next day. Don't get discouraged! Trust in your body. It's working just fine without too much messing with it!"

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow too! Sex is suppose to help soften the cervix. They also say nipple stimulation and fresh pineapple. I'll be starting all that tomorrow lol I want my little one here asap. I'm so miserable!
