LH before AF?

Ok so I posted a question about OPKs and it got answered but I have another question...for anyone near AF/pregnant and used OPKs. I got a darker line yesterday than I normally do when I use an OPK. It wasn't positive but it was darker than normal. I'm at best (I'm guessing) I have five more days until AF is due. SO the OPK detected SOME LH but not enough for a positive, and I took an HPT this morning...so anyone think there's still a possibility I am pregnant or do we have LH in our system before AF?

My HPT was negative, I was just wondering if there's always LH in urine but I found a site that said it was. Now I'm just waiting until CD 33 to test again.

Was your HPT positive?  A HPT detects hcg and an OPK detects LH. If you get a positive HPT it means you have hcg in your urine, which is only found in pregnant women. For more info on the differences between HPTs and OPKs you should visit peeonastick.com. It is very helpful in explaining the difference between the two.
