Labor Story

So last night I was having severe contractions. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't sit, nor lay down it was awful. Every 5 min I had to get up because of how excruciating the pain was. I had stayed at my moms for the night. She then took me yo the e.r. at 5:30 am and I was only 3cm open. 2 Nights prior to that I was 1cm. I was pretty disappointed because I was expecting to be more open. I thought I was going to be dismissed again but luckily they were able to keep me in. 30 min in  L&D and I had opened one more cm. I was then put on some IV and moved into a room where I would later on deliver. I got the epidural and felt better than ever. I was also put on some med that would speed up the process and by 2:45pm I was at 10cm! I wasn't ready to push because my hubby wasn't there so I literally waited and once he got to the room , he and my mom helped and held mu legs I put for so long. Baby wouldn't come out and I was getting weak and on top of that the epidural was wearing off! I finally pushed enough to where the doctor was able to pull his head and BOOM! He was out!! At 4pm he was welcomed to this world. Weighing at 7lbs and 15oz and Measuring 20in long. :) FTM.
Good luck with you mommies-to-be out there! ♡
