Ladies.....I'm freaking out!!!!

OKay, well about an hour ago I noticed and felt discharge coming out...gross I know...so I was trying to get it out as it's more stringy than normal and then when I wiped...there was some blood, more red than pinkish. I feel okay for the most part...kinda crampy feeling and can't stop peeing...but nothing serious. Baby is moving just fine, heart rate is fine and everything. Well it's an hour later and there is still blood when I wipe mixed with lots of mucous/discharge so I of course am freaking out. I called my midwife and she said it sounds like things may be starting and when I get contractions, to call her back or if the bleeding gets worse. I am not really feeling contractions as of yet...but we'll see if anything changes later tonight. I have NEVER experienced bleeding or spotting in this pregnancy, so it makes me think things are changing! I am really scared and nervous and can't stop shaking because this is all new to me. Maybe it will happen sooner than I thought?? I don't know...we'll see. I thought at first I scratched something and that was causing the spotting, but when it kept happening an hour later, I knew it was coming from way up inside of me. Oh my goodness....pray for me!!!! ahhhh!

Yup it sounds like your plugg is coming out. When mine came out I didn't have contractions till like 3 days later and my water started to break. It will be fine! Yay! Congrats.

I seem to be okay now, but I ended up having another bout of diarrhea an hour after the first. I drank tons of water and had some toast and now I just get the occasional BH.
Baby is still moving like a champ as well! =)  I hope it's soon...I am getting so anxious to meet this baby! Hubby can't wait either.
OKay, so once my water breaks I'll loose the whole plug then. I knew there was no way I lost all of it already cause I know that thing is pretty big! lol. My mom's water never broke, the doctor always had to break it for her. I wonder how it will happen for me? We'll see.
Oh Krissy....in the middle of giving birth?? Oh my goodness, now I'll be scared! lol. I PRAY that doesn't happen to me since I plan on having the water birth...okay, I don't even want to think about that. lol.
Yea I am pretty much not working anymore. But I am still training my friend to take over completely. Since it's our own business, it makes it so nice to be able to be so flexible with hours or whatever.
I was at my mom's today and she said I have definitely dropped! I can even see it now. It's crazy!! Took some pictures today, so I am going to post them soon.
I'll just keep updating you until this baby decides it time to come out!! =)

i hate to say it, but my friend (who has me a little paranoid and freaked out about pooping during labor) told me that diarhea can be a natural part of the labor process...she said that before all 3 of her kids, she got it and even had it in the midst of birth!  yikes!!!!  hopefully the poos will come out now rather than then!  have you stopped working?  hopefully so because it sounds like birthday is coming soon!

The upset tummy could be contractions.... And yes having diarheea can be a sign..... Like I said, you NEVER loose all your mucas plug because your body is alway's replacing itself........ But when your water breaks it'll come out.... lol...

I have been told that some women do I diarrhea when they go into or are about to go into labor.  All of my SIL's, Mother, and MIL said that they had it before they went into labor.  Each said it was about a week or less.

Rocking on all fours huh?? That actually sounds comfortable right now. I had some more pinkish discharge today and my stomach has been sooooo upset today. I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary at all and it's been hurting, cramping, and have had horrible heartburn and acid reflux and on top of it I just finally went to the bathroom and had diarrhea....I know...TMI....but the last time that happened was about 2 or 3 months ago when I had a stomach bug. Could this be a sign as well?? This morning I was having BH that would take my breath away, but not painful yet. Oh the waiting....and now I am analyzing every little thing that happens to me. lol.

Oh believe me Chantal you will know when you are going into labor! Have some sex! And my sister told me that rocking back and forth on all fours (sounds funny and dumb, I know) put her in labor. And remember...just breathe and focus! Good luck!

AWWW congrats on your girl!! How sweet!! How much did she weigh?  Did you have any blood with your discharge? Friday around 4pm is when I noticed blood when I wiped, then it was mixed with discharge, mostly clear and kinda thick, some yellowish. It went on until this morning/afternoon. Now it's just discharge. I am just about 37 weeks and my midwife thinks this baby is pretty big! She didn't seem concerned that I was bleeding some or that I may go into labor very soon. She knows more than me and if she thought it was too early, wouldn't she tell me to be on bedrest? I have a feeling I may not go for another week or so yet though. Not really showing anyother signs of labor....but we'll find out soon I guess! =)

I just had our baby girl on Easter Sunday. On Saturday morning, I had a lot of discharge. It was clear, didn't have much of a scent to it, and it was a bit slimy. I came on here and described it and people said it sounded like some of my mucous plug. HA, it wasn't!!! My water was leaking...later that night my water broke all over the place...in a restaurant of all places. So go with your gut instinct! I did lots and lots of walking the last week before my due date, I think it really worked to bring the baby down. Good luck to you!

P.S. How far along are you? You don't want to try those natural induction techniques unless you are very close or past your due date.

I don't think I lost all of my plug just yet....I know it's pretty big, but who knows!! I did lose a lot, I know that, but we'll see!!! EEEEEK! =) I am just not feeling much in the way of contractions. I sure hope I know when I go into labor! haha.

Yep you are just about there! They say that when you lose your plug that you only have about 48 hours till you go into labor! GOOD LUCK GIRL!!! I am sooo excited for you!!!

Thanks ladies so much!! Who knew that the same way you got pregnant, is the same way you try to get that baby out!! LOL. =)   I was feeling a little crampy again today...but nothing too serious! I helped my husband clear out the basement a little today....I was moving stuff out so I had to go up and down the stairs quite a few times...I figured that was a good work out and maybe it would do something here!! =) Now I am just resting and taking it easy....but I think I am going to go "eye" up hubby! LOL
Wow.....6 weeks is such a LONG time...do you realize I am still somewhat of a newly married girl here???? haha. But maybe when the baby comes we'll be so occupied with him and his sweet little self, we won't have time to think about it...... yea....we'll see!! =)
I am so crazy!! Anyway...thanks for the advice and I will keep you all posted!! =)

I agree with Precious... Have all the sex you can!!!! LOL...... It will be 6 wks before you can again.. Although I never made it that far.. I alway's did at 4-5 week point because I just couldn't take it anymore..... They mostly tell you that because you'll be sore and if you tear during delivery your stitches might get pulled....And I do reccomend that you let yourself naturally tear rather than getting cut... It takes longer to heal than stitches and can get badly infected... GOOD LUCK GIRL!!!!

The sperm can also help start contractions.  I agree, walk your butt off!!!  Do some squats, have sex.  Especially the last one, since it will be awhile before you can do it again!!

Hey, As long as your water hasn't broken you can still have sex.... It's when your water breaks that you can't because then it goes straight to the baby..... Have FUN!!!! Like I said, the sperm can actually dialte your cervix and you could go into labor... HAVE FUN! But make sure you walk, and get your rest too...... You'll need all your strength for pushing! LOL...... KEEP US POSTED!

take it from some one who has ben in your shoe 2 goneing on 3 time you need your rest its not comeing till its ready i did all that suft that the doc told me to do and still was prego  you need you rest ok sweet but i hope all things go good for you   but i dont thank it will be long it was't for me but we are all diff you now  good luck

I would walk! The more walking you do the quicker you'll go.... That's what I did with my first..... Yup.. You lost your plug.. GIRL YOUR GOING ANYTIME!!! *LOL*  Walk, walk, walk, and more walk....... That will send you into labor.. If you want to go now, try sex... If you've lost your mucas plug, it's still ok to have sex as long as your water hasn't broken. Sex can actually stimulate the cervix to dialate if your ready to go........ KEEP US POSTED!

Hey Toni.....Today the bleeding is much better. Still a lot of discharge but just pinkish/brown. No real contractions yet though. My midwife told me to just relax and get rest. Other people tell me walk and get active to prepapre! I'm lost....lol. I will just take it easy, but not stop my life I guess. =) hehe.  We'll see what happens here. I am having a lot of discomfort down there. More than normal. My mom is thinking in the next 2 weeks I'll have the baby. I'm soooo nervous now!! =)
