Large uterus i'm about 6 1/2 weeks

So i'm about six and a half weeks and I can now feel my uterus poking over the pupic bone. My starting weight was 137 and I am already 142. This is my third child. Could it be a sign of twins or does the uterus pop out faster with the third one? Thanks everyone

No I am confident that it's my uterus I worked with a ob/gyn a couple years ago and felt a lot of uteruses and I have also been preg 2 other times. There is bloating I'm not saying that I have a baby bump I can just feel it above the pubic bone. I was thinking it's possible that I ovulated early cause with my other two pregnancies I got pregnant at the begining of my cycle (very begining). I will have to wait for the ultrasound to see if the dates change. I am really hoping that there is only one baby. Thanks for the responses

Your uterus would not crest the pubic bone until around 12 weeks pregnant or so. Most likely it is just bloat. Your organs begin shifting pretty quickly and what you are most likely feeling is intestine. Bloating is a common pregnancy symptom. You might notice that when you wake up your belly is pretty flat but by the end of the day you have a nice roundness and fullness to your lower abdomen. That is just fluid and bloat at this point.

I can feel it. LOL! It annoys me. Cause it does wake up when I wanna sleep!! Its not fair, My partner gets sad cause he cant feel it yet, buut I can... LOL...

My midwife doesnt think im 11 weeks...But the way she worked it out is wrong. because I didnt have sexxy time in the middle of the week unless im missing something.... LOL!! my gp thinks im 11weeks, But my midwife dont!

Ya I'm in canada I'm sure I could get it done if I went to the er but I don't wantbad karma lol I will just wait lol.... Just I read that you shouldn't be able to feel the uterus until 11 or 12 weeks and I'm only half way there and I know I can't be farther along cause my last period was may 9 lol

Mines on the 9th :) LOL. If you are REALLLLY desperate to know, I suppose you could see your GP and say you had some bleeding and stuff and they could check for a heartbeat on the machinee thingsy. i duno what its like in the US. But they did it for me in the UK :)

No there is no twins in my family but the odds are 1 in about 200 I think so it's not too rare. I have my ultrasound on July 6th so I guess I will see then.

I have heard that your bump is bigger and grows faster with the more chilrden you have. Are twins common in your Family?? The only way to know if its twins is a Scan, and I think HCG levels can also tell....
