Late ovulation???

So, my period was supposed to do on January 31st.  I had a clear discharge like the kind of discharge that you have when someone's ovulating (stretchy and all) a few days before that.  I never ovulated so close to my period before.  I am now 2 days late and have a slight cramping for few days now.  I took a pregnancy test on 31st and it was negative.  I'm confused, is it possible that my lateness is caused by my late ovulation???  Or is there still a chance that I'm pregnant??
Just something to note:  My cycle is always regular, I never late on my life before.

Could be lots of things.... you need to take a test to be certian though.  It could also be stress.  there are so many factors that its hard to narrow it down for you.
