Low back pain....

Hello ladies,

Is having lower back pain normal at 23+ weeks???  My lower back is killing me and I just want to make sure that's normal.... Is kind of like when your getting your period... that type of pain.

I'm not bleeding or anything, just alot of EWCM(sorry TMI) and the back pain..

It's normal. it could be sciatic pain or other pain. it SHOULD go away after you have your baby. take tylenol and it should help.

if it's actually severe enough then get vicoden. it's safe in normal small amt's. I had 3 OB's tell me and my mom that it's safe. 2 were high risk. it worked wonders for my leg pain. (spider veins.)

Thats normal.  Its due to the change of you posture.  I'm 27 weeks an my lower back aches at times.  My dr told me that if you get a belly band it helps take the pressure off your lower back.  It helps round ligament pains too.  Anita

Yeah, I think it is normal, as the baby and your uterus gets bigger, it adds added pressure to your hips and lower back.  I have a pregnancy workout dvd that includes stretches for this exact purpose...maybe you should try stretching?

I think that is when I started by back pain.... I am currently 32 weeks LOL it never left.... it is normal to have backaches during pregnancy....or pretty much every day... as long as there is no pain in the abdomen or tightening of your tummy and of course no bleeding.... you should be just fine.... sounds normal to me!
