I apologize for the late reply. I have not been logging on much lately. I have been doing my best to rest as much as possible. I really appreciate all of the feedback you've given me. I'm still feeling some pain...and my discharge, which isn't much, is somewhat yellowish...and sometimes whiteish...My DH and I have not had any intercourse since we found out that we are expecting....so I don't know what this means...Hopefully, nothing bad....
We have an appt. with my GYN next week on my DH's birthday....We are looking forward to our next sonogram. I pray that everything turns out to be positive. I also pray that everyone who has been struggling to get their BFP does so really soon....I know how it feels and truthfully, it's a pain staking process.
Blessings to you and everyone else too.....
Hugs,
Marjorie
Update, I still have the pains haha but I forgot to add on my last post that sometimes you'll see a little pink-ish mucus discharge or brownish too. You don't have to worry about this cause it can be that 1)either its related to having sex, or 2) because your uterus is getting bigger it can bleed a LITTLE.
I've had those sharp pains too but they come and go and they aren't that painful but enough to make me think "oh they are still hapenning huh". Now I don't have that many pains but I have the worst nausea ever. 24/7. It's terrible!
I went to see my GYN yesterday and we saw our little peanut for the first time. Everything seems to be fine for now....I was advised to stay stress free and take my prenatals, folic acid, and healthy diet, as advised. It was soooo exciting to receive our first sonogram of our little peanut. Please keep us in your prayers...and I will continue to do the same for all of you....
Big Hugs,
Marjorie
Hi, just check in ur insulin levels for the safer side. coz some pple with PCOS have high insulin. high insulin inturn leads to high testosterone which is not good during pregnancy. if its normal, then its ok. Just make sure with ur doc, coz my doc suggested to continue metfromin if i get pregnant as i have high insulin. Thank u very much for ur wishes. Take care, eat healthy...
I was told to not continue taking it if it wasn't prescribed to treat a diabetic issue. I will be visiting my GYN tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous about my first visit. Thank you so much for your interest and please keep us in your prayers...
I will continue to pray for you, as I told you before, so that you too also get your BFP soon!
God Bless You....(Hugs)!!!!
Hi, Plz continue taking metformin. I hope ur doc wud ve told u abt it. So happy for u as i ve been following ur story...God bless u dear..
Thank you for the clarification...It's quite ironic how I was just posting something on your profile when I saw that you had just posted something on mine...They say similar minds think alike...LOL! ;-)
Thanks again for everything and god bless you all! :-)
oh im sorry a urinary tract infection i meant to put UTI but my son was tryna color on the walls lol so i had to jump up
This website is what made me also think that I'm prone to a M/C
http://www.ovarian-cysts-pcos.com/miscarriage.html
Ladies, you girls have no idea how much weight you have pulled off from my shoulders....God bless you all....I don't want to become a worry bird....but I can't help it after reading about so many women miscarrying their little ones...I'm gonna have to stop reading about these for some time....I need to remain as stress free as possible....
Thank you all again!!!!
XOXOXO To You All!!!!! :-)
I had that with all my pregnancy. I cramped reallybad in all of them. Not to the point where I was doubled over. But to the point where it just hurt and was anoying
To answer your original question- cramping during pregnancy is normal. Sometimes I'd have some intense cramps and thought the worst. But alas, all is well! We just had our 3D sonogram yesterday and our baby girl is gorgeous. Good luck to you!
I can't believe it's been 29 weeks already...time has flown...
I've been told that women with PCOS are prone to have miscarriages....Maybe I also need to do my research on this subject. Thank you so much!!! :-)
I've never had a M/C and I'm really scared since this is our 1st pregnancy and I'm prone to having one due to my PCOS.....Thank you very much though for your comforting words....The more advice I get from everyone the better I feel....I have no bleeding...and no excruciating pain...so this is such a huge relief....Thank you again.
What is U/T?
I have PCOS and I'm 29 weeks pregnant. PCOS does not increase your chances of miscarriage that I know of and I've done quite a bit of research.
It is great to hear this coming from an experienced mommy....The cramping just seems to be uncomfortable....It's not excruciating pain, nor have I seen any bleeding thank god....You have no idea how much relief you have given me....At least now I can say that I have to try to worry less and wait until I see my GNY either today or Monday. I'm trying my best to see her today but I'm still at work and can't really get off early.
I also still don't know exactly how far along I am....I just found out yesterday that we are expecting our 1st after trying for almost 5 years......
OH BUT ONCE I WAS HAVING PRETTY SHARP PAINS ON MY RIGHT SIDE AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A U/T
SORRY ITS ALL CAPS I DIDNT REALIZE IT TILL AFTER I TYPED IT
SAME WITH ME
I HAD THEM ESPECIALLY WITH THIS PREGNANCY AND OF COURSE SINCE IVE HAD A M/C BEFORE EVERY LITTLE THING CONCERNED ME SO I WAS CONSTANTLY CALLING THE DOCTOR AND MAKING APPOINTMENTS
BUT LIKE NIKI SAID ITS NORMAL DUE TO YOUR UTERUS STRETCHING AND UNLESS ITS ACCOMPANIED BY BLEEDING I WOULDNT WORRY TO MUCH BOUT IT
TRY DRINKING LOTS OF WATER AND
TYLENOL EVERY NOW AND THEN IF ITS STILL THEIR
IT HELPED ME .
I have had pain like that in all of my viable pregnancies. Almost like period cramps? Like not bad, but uncomfortable?
My Dr. has always told me that this is my uterus stretching and getting ready for the baby as its growing. Even though the baby is still small your uterus does A LOT of growing in the first trimester!
If it get bad though, like pain that doubles you over, or the cramping is accompanied by bleeding, I would definitely put a call into your Dr.
How far along are you?
