Yes there could be side effects with every medication.
But it's the dr's job and responsibility to prescribe the safest ones.
A mild side effect is better then the effects of a bladder/uti infection, as rmberme69 said
Doctors will not prescribe a Med that will harm your baby if they know your pregnant. A UTI is to be taken very seriously, it can cause pre-term labour and kidney damage. I have had so much trouble with UTIs in the last 2 months, hopefullly this last time I will get one before my baby is born.
YES MY DR DOES KNOW. I DID GOOGLE IT AND IT SAYS IT IS SAFE BUT WITH EVERY DRUG TAKEN THERE COULD BE SIDE EFFECTS.
Does the dr know you're pregnant?
If the dr knows about your pregnancy, I doubt very much they would give you something that's not safe to take during pregnancy.
Could always do a google search, and see if you come up with anything
