Medicine during pregnancy????

I have a very bad head cold (stopped up nose, ear aches, and sore throat).  Does anyone know of anything I could do or take??  I'm not familiar with what meds are allowed during pregnancy.

Also, does anyone know a good website to go to that lists certain foods we can and cannot eat during pregnancy??

Thanks!

Thanks for the info.  I'm just barely pregnant....just 4 weeks.  I've been going through fertility treatment for 1 1/2 years and this is my first successful pregnancy so I'm new at all this.

Thanks again!

how far along are you? I have been having the same problem, everything but the sore throat. It's been weeks since I have felt like myself! My doctor told me I could take benadryl at night (he thinks it may just be really bad allergies) I could also take mucinex D or sudafed during the day. I would always check with your doctor before taking any meds. You could also use a saline solution for your nose or hot water and eucalyptus and breathe that in.
As far as the foods you can eat...I like babycenter.com. They have some helpful advice. Hope that helps you.
