Menstrual like cramps at 36 weeks

For those that wernt around on Saturday I want to give you a little history.  Saturday morning when I woke up I went to the RR and passed what I either think was my mucos plugg or a bloody show (WARNING TMI) It was a glob of discharge that was pink and through out that day I was having clumps of white discharge... That night I was having very bad contractions that radiated from my lower back and abdomen... They lasted 2 hours and were approx 2-5 min apart. When I got up and began moving around they lightned up and eventually stopped.... Sunday - today I have still had tons of discharge and painful pressure in my lower abdomen, loose stools, but the menstural like cramps are crazy... They hurt so bad... That is so bothersome as well as neausea... any insight on what may be causing all this? Thank you so much..

Also yesterday I had sooooo much energy and cleaned my entire house and today I am frecking exhausted.... HELP

Good Luck!!!  Enjoy the last few days of your pregnancy!  Your house is all clean so sit and enjoy feeling baby move and the last few hours/days of quiet.

Try to rest as much as possible. Remember the golden rule "the longer they stay inside, the faster they come home."  You're still a little early. I know there is no way of controlling your labor if they baby is coming it's coming no matter what. But lay down as much as possible to help stall it just a little bit more.

the consistant menstral like cramps is how the real labor will usually begin. (atleast for me) I would make sure you eat something light before you leave for L&D..... and take some of the dum dum suckers with you. When your in labor you will be lucky to get ice chips no matter how dry your mouth gets.... I would say your labor is coming very soon. Keep walking and make sure when you leave there is nothing that you will "need" to do when you get home. That way you can rest and love on your baby all day long!!! Good Luck and keep us posted!

Sorry that I kept bumping the post up, but I guess I am just oblivious to think this isnt going to happen anytime soon. Wow reality check.... I guesss this may be happening sooner than I thought... jesselee83- my bags are packed and I cleaned my house up yesterday but I need to pick up what my messy hubby messed up... All the baby's laundry is done and his room is all picked up and put together. Thanks

well, i'd definitely say you should get your bag ready!     finish up the baby stuff, folding clothes, washing new stuff( i wash everything lol), and my mom was telling me, she always vacuums, cos she knows no one else will do it, or dust, so she does both before heading to the hospital lol

I think you're gonna go into labor ANYTIME NOW! So just relax and enjoy the last few moments or days of pregnancy. Work on preparing for labor, whatever that means for you. And enjoy your little baby inside of you :)

Sounds like what i have been going through.  I was in the hospital last night and they had to stop labor.  If it keeps up call your doctor, sounds like your little one is on the way.

Sounds just like what I did with my first about 2 days before going into real labor. Your 36 weeks so you're almost done "cooking your bun". Your body is just getting ready.
