Mood Swing

My girlfriend is 6 weeks pregnan and she started to hate me a few days a go.
Is this normal? She was fine for the first few weeks, now she hates my guts!.

I know its a hormonal thing, but i'm worry its going to drag on..
Any suggestions and comment much appreciated!

Thank you everyone for your support and advice. It is very hard sometimes but i am giving her my best effort. I know its not me, some said that the baby will look like my self, if she hates me during pregnancy i guess we have to wait and see.

Cheers!

when i read the first couple of words on your post i laughed....im the same way right now, its gotten a little better but a few weeks ago my poor husband would just sit there quitely (and that would **** me off more lol) good luck its all worth it in the end.  my hubby told my mom the other day he would walk in the door and i would curse him out then 2 seconds later i would be like hey honey what do you want to eat for dinner, whatever you want babe just say and i will cook it.  and he told my  mom if he said spagetti i would tell him in reply do you want ******* garlic bread with that! lmao

I am currently 23 weeks preg and although I love my hubby to pieces, I have to admit that sometimes I was sooo angry and almost can say I did hate him during preg, I was soooo tired, feeling like crap constantly and it just seemed like he was unable to do anything around the house on his own (cook and clean) and I just did not have the energy to do anything for him anymore. I also went through a stage at this time where I could not imagine having a child - even thought this was planned - but the addes responsibilty of having to care for a baby and make dinner, clean up etc. It seemed like what hubby did do to help - I did not notice. Our hormones while preg cause us to have less patience sometimes...If I were you, I would just try to make her life easier right now. Seh does not hate you, she is going through some major life altering things with her life and body right now. The little things mean so much, Making her a hot beverage, rubbing her feet, creaming her belly and back, making dinner, cleaning up dishes, bringing home flowers because she is carrying your baby :)  those little things would meal alot to me. It may seem like she hates you but I guess you have to think about it as when you are 110% exhausted, and still have so many responsibilities to take care of - its hard to be happy all the time....even though this is such a happy time. I remember one time hubby said something to me - that was totally a joke and I started to cry. LOL  Its these little emotions that we are not sure how to respond. I am sooo happy though that you asked this question on the forum. I am sure you are a great guy and you seem very caring. Good Luck, and dont stop showing her your love for her :)  This is a good time to let the `macho man`kinda escape and let `sweet guy`enter and take over. I was a suck for it :)

Don't worry...I'm 7wks and a few days pregnant and I hate my husband right now. Most likely her sex drive is decreased and she's feel irritable and sick. This is normal and it may last a few more weeks, but by her second trimester (about 13wks) she should be feeling better and she should hate you less....her sex drive should also kick into high gear, so enjoy that. I know it feels like forever, but remember, it's only a few weeks of grinning and bearing it and then in a few months you'll have a beautiful baby. A little suffering for a lot of gain, and if you think you're miserable, just imagine how she feels! :) just hang in there....it's not really YOU she hates. it's probably everything right now:)
