Please hlep I think Im going to go crazy if I havent already. I have been sick throwing up 3-4 times a day since week 6 I am now at week 15 and it is down to 2-3 times a day but of course naseous all day. Please let me know if anyone else feels like this......I feel like if I dont eat something every 45 minutes to an hour I will puke. Is this normal? Ive asked the doctor and they say yes. I honestly do not know ANYONE who has had morning sickness like this. I am so depressed I cry all the time. Please someone help me.

Thank you all. Ive tried Zofran and for me it did not work at all. Now Im on another drug Promethazine (this is the generic name I think) . It is amazing! Atleast for this first day. Its a suppository because I cant stand to take anything orally....it would just make me puke. I too can not stand smells of any kind. I could not eat anything. BUT today after taking the drug last night I can eat much better (not 100% ) but much better. Today was the first time in 4 months that I stepped out of my house. If anyone is suffering from really really bad morning(all day) sickness ask your docotor about the Zofran first if that does not work ask for this other drug starts with a Promethazine. Promethazine did make me extremly sleepy so try to take at night...I took it at 7:30pm last night within a half hr or so I felt relief...then really tired...I was finally able to sleep through the night and woke up with very little nausea and since then Ive been feeling much much better...we will see about tonight Im going to try half a suppository. Of course try everything else first....wrist bands, soda crackers, ginger ale, real ginger, mints, preggie pops...eating small snacks every hour. If its hard to drink water mix it with some gatorade or some lemon or lime. For me the worst was at night it would start around 2pm and I would make sure I would eat something all the way up to right before bed and then really try to sleep right away. I hope this helps.

I have been nauseaus since I got pregnant but the doctor prescribed me with Zofran which is wonderful and really does help!  I clean houses and cleaning while feeling sick is not much fun but at least the nausea med helps a whole lot!  I am not 30 weeks and still feeling ill but the doc told me to keep taking the nausea medicine when I need it!  The med is used by dissolving the tiny pill on your tongue and works instantly!   You all may want to check with the OB to see if you can get the prescription!  It is not harmful to the baby!  Good luck to everyone!  God Bless

Im sorry your so sick. Im about ten weeks pregnet and my morning sickness is absolutly terrible. I don't throw up like alot of other people get but I'm sick and nauseus ALL DAY LONG and with me I cant smell food at all or I will feel like I have to puke. Everyone ones bodys are different. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and gateraid to keep ur self hidrated. For most people morning sickness should end after the third month but like I said everyone is different. I hope u feel better. :)

Been there Done that! I was sick from day 1 (yes I believe day1 it started around CD 21) and continued thru labor. Somehow I still had a 7 lb 5 oz healthy baby. Ask ur Dr about topical phenergan--it's a gel you put on ur wrists. not all pharmacies make it. Have u tried sea bands--they apply pressure to a wrist nerve that's supposed to help the nausea. My SIL had luck using Reglan. Good luck.

Thank you all for responding so quickly. It's hard how do any of you deal with being this sick and working. Im working full time and its been extremly hard to juggle this. Tobbeyj - sorry to hear about your miscarriage..... Ive heard that also that when you have morning sickness its a good sign.....I keep trying to think this all the time....I look at the sonogram pics all the time. Its just hard. I had endometriosis (severe) for 5 years and the last year is was in horrible pain 3 days out of every month. Then I tried getting pregnant for 1 1/2 then went through fertility treatments. I think clomid did something to my endo and I was in pain for 3 weeks straight. and then eventually had invitro (shots and medication) not fun needless to say its been a rough couple of years and I just really want to feel good. I always had this feeling that I would love being pregnant.....Ive tried so hard for this I really want to enjoy it. Ive been missing so much work (been on berest a few times now for a hematoma) and called in a few times because I was just too sick. With work I get 3 month FMLA and because of the time out (bedrest) Ive already used up almost a month of this. Now I will only have 2 months with my baby. Im just so depressed about it all...I of course know it could all be worse and Im thankful Im pregnant I just cant help feeling depressed because I havent been out of my house in 3 months because I always get sick....and working while feeling like this is just killing me.

Having peviously gone through a miscarriage at 20 weeks and thinking that everything was sooo good to be true, I would love to be that sick and know that my baby was healthy, This is a sign that your babys development is going well. Although annoying and tough on your body, being sick and nauseous are signs that we should try to enjoy. I am not sure if they have these in your area, but they are called BNATAL POPS. They are lollypops with some vitamins to help with nausea - I got them at my local pharmacy but I know they are hard to find. I have also heard that ginger cookies can help. I am currently 20 weeks preg and find myself nauseous and vomiting quite frequently. My hubbs now thinks of it as a sport and uses words of encouragement such as good job baby as I have my head in the toilet. :)   Just remember that these signs are the babys way of telling you that it is doing well :)

I was just like that! I had to constantly have a little something in my stomach to keep me from getting debilitating nausea! They put me on Zofran, a medicine that helped immensely with the nausea, though. :)
