Motrin in Pregnancy

So, im about 32 wks pregnant, and after weeks of test and my doctor being a total jerk, I find out I have a yeast infection, which i have never had, The pain and un confort was un barable! Plus the baby is putting so much pressure on my pelvic bone, I cant bend, lift my legs, nothing! This is my 4th pregnancy. My first 2, were such great easy pregnancy, then about a month prior to this pregnancy i had a mis carriage. Now this pregnancy is so hard! I have been taking 800mg of motrin about every other day. to help ease the pain. My doctor is not aware of me taking the motrin. And now Im starting to worry, I have been taking it for about 2wks. now. And I know i should not have takin it. And Im trying so hard not too. But how much damage can already be done? I was at the hospital today and the babys heart beat was perfect they said, and the baby is extreamly active all the time! So, can someone help me and tell me what takin the motrin has done?

Talk to your doctor before taking ANYTHING.  I'm not 100% on motrin, but I've heard it's not safe.  Best thing to do is talk to your doctor.  and if you're doctor is a jerk, find a new doctor!!!

If taken in the last three months of pregnancy it can cause birth defects, and can increase the odds of miscarriage. Motrin is ibuprofen which is never meant to be taken during pregnancy. If you need anything for pain, use Tylenol. There may be no damage done, but do not use it anymore.
