Hi girls. Sorry if this is TMI but I need some advice. I just had a bowel movement and when I wiped I had a lot of mucus discharge. It was like yellowish/greenish. Is that normal? I've been having a lot of discharge for the last couple of days. I am 32 weeks but I have a very high risk pregnancy.

A plug us different being that all pregnancies are different. Like PP said it wouldn't hurt to get checked, but I've seen in here and internet, and also informed by my doctor that your plug can be a green, greenish/yellowish, reddish /pinkish, white-ish /pink... but normally and most commonly it is yellowish white/clear also like PP stated. I do hope it is your plug and none the less though.

I don't think discharge is supposed to be green though. I'd get that checked out. I was told plug is yellowish or white with a bit of blood. And the plug can grow back, but I'd still get yourself checks out.

And losing your plug is normal. Labor can either start within hours or weeks so don't freak.. just know its on its way and be prepared.

It sounds like your mucus plug and you can lose your plug in one day or or over a number of days.
