Mucus Plug

I am 19 weeks. Early this morning (around 3 or 4) I would wake up to slightly intense pain in my lower abdomen. The last couple of days I have been constipated so I thought that is what it was and would roll over and fall back to sleep. When I woke up, I had a BM (didn't have to strain) and while I was wiping I had a mucus blob the size of a nickel come out. There was no blood along with it and I haven't had any pain or cramping since (a couple of hours). I am waiting for my Doctor to call back but I wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else.

Everyone is different. I lost mine almost 2 weeks before I went into preterm labor. Mine wasn't bloody either so my midwife didn't think nothing of it. Smh... guess she was wrong!

A lil of my mucus plug came out when I was 29 weeks its wasn't bloody so my doctor wasn't concern she said it a grow back but if I lost more with blood to give her a call I wouldn't worry I'm still pregnant lol I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow

The mucus plug can regenerate itself multiple times. When there is blood and/or cramping then your usually closer.

Hasn't happened to me but I've heard of people losing their mucus plugs really early and them "re-growing"...
